  3. Cracking show at Harewood, went last year, I would highly recommend this show for a great day out. The trophys and rosettes were spot on last year never seen better at other game fairs. Well looking forward to this one.
  4. Both lads agreed on the night as far as I can gather reading Singlehandeds post? don't see why anybody should be stirring the shit if the two lads involved parted company mates, can you? if you are banned how are you posting?
  5. Whin are you on Crack??? you do spout rubbish. Singlehanded has given his version of the mixy rabbit, why can't you accept that on the night "BOTH SINGLEHANDED and LDR both grown men Shook hands and parted mates? YOU are the one by all accounts (as far as I can see by "trying" to read your posts ) who is doing all the shouting and you didn't even enter a dog, you weren't there, had nothing whatsoever to do with it. I don't blame LDR for not having this comp. next year, people like you and all the MB newbie's coming on only to cause bother. I hope your comp goes well with you a
  6. Well done to both of you best of luck in the next round. Good to hear you lads had a good night out with like minded people.
  7. Good luck to both at least the lads who entered had the guts to do so Mine couldn't catch a cold never mind a rabbit So good luck to all of you lads who have had the balls and the faith in their dogs to step up to the challenge walking round the land NOT driving
  8. Wouldn't like to eat your hare mate if you hang it with thae guts in all that crap inside them??? hang em "yes" Without the guts in
  9. Of course their Lurchers !! And I've seen bull x's do anything a traditional Lurcher can do .
  10. Sorry for your loss, can't imagine what you are going through. RIP Flint.
  11. Went to this gamefair on the Monday as all the comments are great need I say anything? The only downside to this was "I DIDN'T STAY FOR TWO DAYS" Great Show and organisation.

  13. what took you so long Gixer in posting? your joining date is August?
  14. Well done Mark, looks like you had another great night take no notice of the negative comments mate.
  15. Quote dennned" keano , as i said earlier , i will be picking the judges from now on ,not only did our chairman make an incredible mistake with the judge , he made a complete tit of himself thinking the judge could do the job , i can only reiterate my comments , it wont happen again , the members of the public are what keep our club on it's feet so without you all we cant survive, it's not only your thoughts , but from others aswell that im concerned about , so i'll damn well sure, I, will be getting all judges in future, this club tries really hard to make sure that it is run competently and
  16. if it makes you happy stuart you did a great job In everyones eyes the dog that won"Cock of the North"Lurcher stood out and was a real fantastic animal", So don't go blowing your own trumpet yet As for nobody saying anything about youre judging, if you are the chap that had the glasses on and was from Scotland? but, as you youreself brought it to my attention, well, here goes. A few were not amused at the fact that the dogs where sqealing while you handled them?? not just one or two but maybe four or five, at leat two tried to bite you, even officials were red faced at
  17. So much talk about working/showing dogs, unbeleivable, I must agree with some of the lads that say "you can't have it both ways" but, you can.............. as a lot of our members do on this site alone, do the job in the field, and, in the show ring in the summer months. I understand the lads who say why is it a working dog show when the majority of them have never seen nothing more than an insect cross their paths?? understandable and yes, I also wonder why.....but in the case of The Cock of the North terrier this dog TRULY is a worker and a well deserved champion.
  18. Must agree this was a briliant show will be back again next year Well done to the organisers they put on a good day for a lot of us. The bullx championship was a worthy winner the judges had a hard job as the amount of good dogs in the ring I wouldn't have liked to have even tried to pick a winner, so good on those lads/lasses who did the job.
  19. Hello everyone, good to be on the site and hope you lot can give me some advice. Have one lurcher at the minute and I am wanting to have another one in maybe 6 months time when I can afford a good one. At the minute I run a 1/2cross Greyhound Deer Hound he does ok but would like something a little bit smaller for the land I work. Looking forward to all your advice and input to questions that I will be asking. Thanks Muntana
