As a kid in Sunderland it was an ambition to work down the pit (before it closed)simply because my mates dad worked down there and my mate had a good collection of fossils his dad gave him,the innocence (naivety) of childhood.

Yep, mostly I can tell blokes with an Indian or Pakistani homelife even if they were born in the UK. My sons both have an odd English American accent.

Indian/Pakistani blokes born in the UK to immigrant parents often have an accent of sorts you can pick up on,even on the phone when you can’t see them you have an inkling where their parents are from,I spoke to an Indian bloke once and asked him about it,he said his parents were Indian,his neighbours and community were Indian,he had his car serviced by an Indian mechanic and shopped in Indian owned stores.

I used to have a decent sized humidor to keep flowers in.Have a glass of rum and a really nice Cuban cigar in a gentleman’s club with @DIDO.1 muted conversation and the sharp click of ivory billiard balls as background,sadly real style is going out of fashion,it’s vapes and cans of red bull nowadays.

Sign of a gentleman, good rum and a Cuban cigar, I never smoked in my life but the smell of a rich Cuban cigar is fantastic and reminiscent of a bygone era.

It's based on a true story mate, I have read the book, despite the fact the body count looks like a John wick movie in the original operation no one was killed.
