That's true,but it's also automated,quicker than starting a fire and heating the house,like I said if we sell and buy further out then a real fire will be one of the requirements.

I would love a log fire here,there's a forest 150 yards away packed with silver birch deadfall,maybe if we sell this and get an older property further out,but it's convenient when it's-20 and your out to warm the house from your phone before you get in,modern conveniences eh.

There's fox and coyote,plus raccoon here that take Turkey eggs,but the birds thrive,they are survivors,I imagine they would adapt quite well in the UK.

I think it works mate,but no better than getting up a height in a treestand.I have just been in Sail a local store and an old guy was buying a turkey tag,it's thanksgiving on Monday and Turkey is a tradition so maybe he is going out for a bird in the morning.
