been a few year since i was last there mate,fly fishing only but we used to do a night shift hire a boat and we used a small treble with a bunch of maggots on the fly road.there are some big fish there btw.caught a few everytime ive been.eh no there was no cafe but there was a bothy you can go to it had a wee cooker and kettle stuff.well worth a visit.saying that check first one time we went and the water was green with algae for some reason.best of luck mate if you do go no boat fishing on hoptoun fishery think you getting mixed up mate i you can bate fish maggot worm fly no spinning wee

never mentioned the word cruel,but seeing as you brought it up and after learning the process from lads on here,id say it was cruel.i was killer in a slaughter house when i was younger and all beasts were dispatched immediaetly and as humanely as possible.but like i said im not getting involved in a major argument and im not shouting for it to be banned.who am i to dictate what the spanish do its just my opinion mate

i didnt really know much about it,but there was a cpl on here opened my eyes about it.i just thought it was man against bull,but learned that they slash the bulls muscles in its neck so it can barely lift its head.im not shouting for it to be banned by any means,just wouldnt watch something like that and i was always told to dispatch all animals as quickly and as humanely as possible.and yea the fox can get away to fight another day,well win lose or draw the bull is killed after its been demented to the point of going mad.

just read in the paper that the bull jumped after seeing a lad in an england top cause it was red.there a picture of the lad but he got away lol mind you i dunno how much truth is in that i mean there were otheres wearing red clothing aswell,but it was heading towards him.

well i went into my vets a last year and he sold me the frontline spray for £8.50 and i did all my poleys still got a half bottle left.he never asked for prescription never even asked about ferts just sold it over counter.suppose its a bit far from fife but if you want his number gimme a shout mate.

i do a bit of loch fishing in scotland for trout never fished for pike,but you certainly got me intrigued in trying.guy along the road from me does.think ill ask if i can tag along one day.

glad he is ok mate.but i can call what i like just cause i hunt dont mean i have to support every form of sport involving animals.i dont agree with bull fighting but im not spanish and thats their tradition.same as i dont believe in whale hunting or shooting tigers does that make me a a anti or some kind of tree hugger.thats just ridiculous.

right ive got a huge court and i did what your thinking of doing mate.buried 6"rubber hoses under the floor of court and concreted it in.with 4 entry points.thing is i got to agree with one.i thought it was a good idea at the time,but they dragged a rabbit down and took me a f*****g day to get it out.also after a heavy night of rain they retained water.i just sealed them off now.when i get my new camera ill take some pics of set up.

It weighed in at 17lb 12 oz on my mates digital scales and was caught towards the end of october were if i had caught it in febuary it might have gone over the 20 barrier.It was a fat fish though but was still tempted by a float fished fresh sprat.atb dell f**k sake dell thats some pike,hope catcher1 sees this let him know what a 171b pike really looks like lol bet it fought like hell that fish dell.

well i dont feed them till late on at night.also its just something ive always done.works for my charges.not knocking anyone who doesnt.

mines get meat every day ie rabbits,chicken,turkey legs pheasants woodies,but there is always chudleys dry available 24/7 have fed them this way for years and all my poleys are in great condition.
