Oh the moorings is nice walk past it most days with the dog. The pulp mill is closed now I think. BSW own it now.i stay just over the road from banavie. It's heaving up here now. That's the tourist season starting to kick in. Also we are in a heatwave up here past week. It's hot as f**k now just back from a walk this morning.

Reminds me of an amusing story. During the peace talks and when Adams and his cohorts were invited to downing Street for a visit. Someone in the Blair government decided to appease themselves when he noticed in the room the meeting was to be held a painting on the wall depicting some British battle festooned with union flags and redcoats. If you a single mother or even if you're on the disability you might be better off not working. Single guy on the dole is living hand to mouth. Think my mate gets something like £80 a week and that's his whack. Jobs he does get are zero contracts or temp. Aye disability is the way to go for shiftless folk. I could probably get it myself but f**k that shit jumping through hoops and going to interviews at job centre I couldn't be f****d with that.

No not been on the Harry potter train yet. Tbh it's always booked with tourists runs from fort William to mallaig there two trains. Might go end of season they do a few runs for the locals at half price. Think the fact it's the actual train from the movie is why it's so popular

Yea it was not all rosy in the 80s yea that lad had it Rough and put up with some shit. Even shitty school trips he was left as his parents couldn't pay the small fee. You would think the school would wave it. No they left him sitting alone in a class with the janitor to keep an eye on him. Well done you though at doing you're bit for the kids. I was also expelled not from one but two school's haha. I wasn't thick was actually pretty good clever wise but hated school and the teachers all they cared about was the wage and the long holidays in proud that I made there life's
