  5. Alright lads, i know on the pictures it says 9 1/2"... Is that the height from the top to bottom, or the height from when the triangle part is pushed into the ground to the top eye? I'm having trouble working out the dimensions accuratly, i wont get the chance to trial and error them so i'd be greatful if someone could explain the sizing a little bit better to me? I found a big roll of wire in a skip the other day at work, it's the stuff they use to put up false ceilings. I got it for doing bits on traps but once bent it's pretty strong so i'm going to try it as tealers. Many thanks chris
  6. I felt very sorry for the king charles breed lastnight, the videos were very disturbing.
  7. I agree lads it was shocking seeing the top people talking shite, and that blonde bint with the winning king charles lying directly into the camera... She'd studded her like 28 times since getting the results that said her dog HAD that disease. I got the countryman's today and on about the fourth page there was a good article about what they'd been doing to the english bull over the years (which is one of my favourite dogs). There was also a picture of a dog from a breeder in wales, he's been trying to correct the breeding changes in that particular dog... May i add it looked fantastic, and an

  11. I've just aquired some ratting permission through a family friend, i have no idea whats involved with it though i'll go check it out. Sounds like people have shot them there before but i'll see what happens... theres supposed to be a lot. I'll go up with the nv at night and stick some bait out to see where they're coming from.
  12. I've got a smoker, i'll need to have a tinker with it and the mixture though. Riohh has one aswell i think. If the worst comes to the worst i'll go buy a chainsaw and take it to bits if it means we can do some ratting. I don't mind chucking some cash in for the farmer. Hopefully we could make it a regular thing aswell, i'm often bored on saturday/sunday mornings. Lets get something sorted lads!
  13. Hope we can do something sooner than later, i love bein out with the dogs. Sorry i didn't ring you on sunday riohh, forgot to put your number in my phone before i went. I kept an eye out for you. There were some nice terriers about, i'd say % were black pats though... it was nice to see the differences in them. Saw a red one called rex, he was f**king mint.
  14. Does anyone think it might be more interesting to take the dogs a walk or something? Rather than sit in a pub with an uncomfortable atmosphere and not being able to get leathered as we're all driving? We might all be totally different and have jack to talk about! Atleast the dogs can have a run around after a few balls and we can have a laugh at the same time? I also need the exercise!! Is there any chance of actually doing some ratting or is the permission still the issue? Just an idea anyway lads, Chris
  15. I hope something can be sorted lads, a sunday activity other than a carvery would be good! (I can still eat a carvery though if anyone fancys being a fatty with me). The JR bitch is having pups soon though so it'll probably just be big Regenald on the scene. Hopefully your dogs won't eat the little runt! chris
  16. Hope your dogs recover mate, that's a crap thing to happen. Keep us informed.
  17. Any of you lads go to the EDRD show today? There were some very nice terriers knockin' about!
  18. i'll put a chain in mate Cheers whip
  19. Anyone want to guess what the weather will be like?? I don't have a 4x4, hopefully i wont get stuck in the mud!
  20. I've been making a couple of traps today and i wondered if anyone had tried this....? I know the trapping method works as it is but i was thinking, maybe if you fit two magnets that will stick together to the trap.. One on the bottom of the doorflap and one on the bottom of the cage where the door wants to stop. I'd imagine they'd be strong enough to add that extra security to the door (which would maybe stop another squirrel opening the flap?), i'll smash the fridge magnets up tomorrow and see. Chris
  21. My permissions in grimsby, never seen any rats though. It's 87 miles from me so it's quite a way. I'll gladly bring one or two dogs if someone sets up a date. I'm sure it'd be a good laugh.
