Silly question but.. Have you looked at night mate? I thought that round here till i took a lamp out.

No i've been very carefull with it mate, it's only be used in fields away from lights. As for the distance for a fox mate i wouldn't know to be honest. I'd imagine 40yards will be on the limits. As you're looking for the eyes they will show up more than the actual outline. If you buy an external IR source it will improve considerably i think. The LED sort i have for the cobra is like 100 or 150 metres i think. Have a look on the northeast field sports website for figures. cheers

Can i add the cobra unit is not for sale, i'm yet to try it on a scope so i'm not selling it or the bracket. Alright lads, i've got this for sale if anyone wants one. I bought it about 7 months ago, used it about 8 times. It's still got the original battery with it. I got it from walkers of trowell near ilkeston and i believe i paid £189, i saw it a touch cheaper than that on the net but i was going shooting for a weekend and didn't have time to wait for delivery. I've not taken the price off to lie, i did it to save an ear bashing for spending too much cash on hunting stuff. Theres one

I recommend these guns to anyone, i have a de-twanger fitted with a HW and its whisper quiet. They are so so so light you could easily carry it round on a cheater strap for aslong as you can walk for. I bought it for the weight. There's not many guns can match it for that. Someones gettin a bargain.

I've got a big AGS mate, can't fault them for the price. If that's out of your budget my first scope was a hawke nite eye sr. Cost about £145 or something and that's pretty good again for the cash. Find one you like and go on www.reviewcentre.com, theres loads of review info on there.
