Did you send your initial letter via recorded delivery as I suggested? If so, put the barcode number into the Royal mail database and print off the signature of whoever signed for it, dont contact the shop any more, just take your evidance (I also hope you got a sig for the gun?) to Trading Standards. Let them do all the work for you. I've used them before and the second TS contact the shop, I bet you you get your money back within 48hours. Dealers no matter how big or small dont like TS or the VAT men poking through their businesses. Tony

Hi Lewis, Many people don't bother with silencers on springers. However they can be used to good effect. Although you will not notice much of a difference, because the sound of the action against your ear! Downrange is where the benefit is as it muffles the crack from the muzzle. You can also dampen the sound from the action by putting little strips of felt/rubber between the stock and the action, but you will never silence it like you can a PCP. Tony

I agree Darren, but I have answered without taking the bait buddy, I answered sincerely and factually instead of jumping in for the bait Tony

Has the Airgun forum gone a little stale....
Phantom replied to redial's topic in General Airgun Discussion
You are correct, There has been a lot of Pricks with ears on here, starting arguments, trying to scam people ect.... Lot of the regs are keeping quiet for various reasons, most are probably making the most of the weather swatting squizzers, boppin bunnies, cappin corvids etc And who can blame them, I would be too given half the chance oh and not to forget the holliday season is upon us. Tony It'll pick up again -

But Bob, you know and I know and the fooking pricks with ears that brough out the VCR Act know full well that NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING can make the VCR Act look more of a fooking joke than the VCR Act itself I can buy and shoot a rifle at 12ft/lbs (16 Joules) without any kind of permit, license or insurance or a pistol at 8 Joules (aproc 6ft/lbs) but to be able to buy a pistol in BLACK FROM A SHOP!!!! that has a ME of less than 1Joule I need both a membership (Permit) of a skirmishing club AND insurance Yet to buy the same pistol 2nd hand I don't? The VCR Act is a load of kneejerk

I went out the other night Simon 1st time in a good while, I did start the write up but the lappy hung (again, must must replace the mouse on the power wheel, this ones getting old) I'll do it in a text file and then post it sometime in the next couple of days, I'm hoping to get back to Brough tomorrow, but to see my daughter and son. I'm also trying to arrange a full day out on the paddock and cemetery so that'll be good and I'll write that up as well. Tony

Legally NO Not until you are 18 (stupid law, but the law is the law unfortunately) Tony

Personally, As well as Fieldcraft when moving around, I would hide up over a warren or two or three. Laying in ambush can produce very good results Get downwind, laid up and make sure you know the ranges to the warrens and your capable of hitting targets at those ranges. Bunny hops out, WAIT bunny decides its clear and takes a few hops away from the entrance and BANG! Stay put and wait for the next one to do similar I can cover 6 warrens on my permissions at any one time out to 50 yards. So you (depending on the locations and proximity to each other) can cover double? If I l

I know Davy is away at the moment, and Si has unfortunately been posted to Canada, but it seems the writeups have come to a stop I went out a week back for the 1st time in I don't know how long and didn't do too well, but I'm thinking of putting it up? Tony

The input from the regs? People like Si, Wurz, Festa, Stealthy, Davy and dare I say it Me? Tony

Aye, took loadsa concentration to copy n paste that into chunks legible by modern kids :11: Seriously though; Nice work Darryl Tony

Not read all the replies, because most will mention the prospect of armed trespass. BUT hypothetically you could wind up dead with a round from the local ARU in your centre of mass

hw 77 parts required
Phantom replied to lewis collins's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hi Lewis, These people are probably the best place for ANY spares. If you cant find what you want on the site, give em a ring, you need part number RP021 http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=24571&cat=HW77 Tony -
Hey Jasper, There was a thread about these some time ago, think it must have been last year when I was much more active, the general consensus was pretty negative regarding the cost of them when you could achieve much the same result with 4 drops of Tippex or such like. Take care bud Tony
