  1. Very nice work Gary. Its great that you are taking the time to get to know the new setup rather than most who would rush straight into shooting quarry. Well done Phantom
  2. I think the point of impact may change due to the shooter being cold (shivering). I honestly cant see POI changing buy much indeed if and; however as the air is a little denser when cold over a longer distance it may slow the projectile down a touch? Phantom
  3. I have the Sniper Was it perhaps an RO72 (marketed as a Panther among other names in the UK) Had a wire stock that srewed into the butt of the pistol. Phantom
  4. Well, I was bored and though, we've done to hell and back the guns, time and again, so figured I'd do something a little different Last couple of years I've gone through three different knives for one reason or another Here is my Whitby that I lost a month or so back. Not the most expensive, but damn it was a slick one to use and after Scuba1 sharpened it for me it never needed doing again It had a super sharp point and was soooooo easy to use for gutting and skinning. Here is my newest knife. Its a replacement for my lost Whitby its a little stiffer when i
  5. Sounds like the ASI Paratrooper. Phantom
  6. Wheeeeellllll, If its already close on the 12 you aint gonna get any flatter, unless you have a FAC with a spare slot or two. Anyhow's if you can shoot straight and you are a competant Marksman, you don't need to worry about a flatter trajectory. Phantom
  7. Thts cuz he snook up on em and battered em across the noggin to save on lead; It's expensive these days yah know And also he cant shoot straight  Gary that one on the bottom left, looks as skinny as that black one I knecked t'other day! Phantom
  8. Hadn't noticed you'd gone Welcome back, where yah been? Phantom

  10. Why has he got a 510ft/lbs Air Arms S200 springer Ultra in .50 cal with a Realtree dip and Logun Bi-pod with 5 legs? Phantom
  11. And of course; sadly Alex Is that your opening/introductory post lists four of the same questions that this particular pratt used in his early posts under three different names (Collieigreyhound - Liam.airrifle - Chubby hunter) He would also ask people questions (such as your "Nets" post instead of wanting an explenation, he would ask people for pix as an answer; yet he could not put up any pix of his own so when Stealthy asked to see a pic of your rescued ferret and you didn't, that also made me suspicious. This little pratt was not just trying to learn, I and every other member
  12. :11: I still wanna add the coffin dodgers next door to the Gen Licenses but NE won't do it Perhaps if we ALL write and ask them politely they will put Collie/liam/whateverthefuckheis on as a special and immediate addition to the pest list? Anyone got friends in high places? Phantom

  20. Hey Jasp, Yes I believe a decent Regulator does remove the bulk of the power curve and it should allow you the "Sweet spot" consistancy of accuracy and power output You may even get more shots per fill than that stated by the manual Phantom
  21. Nice Gary I'm hoping to be in my own place in the next few weeks. I'll need at least a hundred more rifle to decorate the wall with :!!: Phantom
  22. Davy Buddy, Will you do me a favour and have the pistol Chronoed for me please People still won't belive that you don't need massive amounts of power to kill an animal humanely! I bet you will be suprised at the results Send me the results via PM if you want Phantom
  23. Such a good write up Davy Well deserving of many an SP I am so glad that I am not the only one to cack himself when out ratting; although I've gotten used to them now. Well I think I have! Excellent to see someone use a Pistol for short range Ratting I'm going to be taking my ASI Sniper (30 shot break barrel springer) and my HW40 pistol next time I go with Dillan. Take the Scope off and have a go at open sights Buddy (paper first as always like), you'll get to the point you can cleanly take a rat very quickly without having to concentrate on the crosshair Again, bleddy goo
