He's long gone.. this dog caught 86 foxes in 1 year like it are lump it Hello Mark, havnt been on here for ages, good to see your still keeping things interesting Is the black shepard cross still going,was it called "ROLO"? I still have a daughter of it "Sophie" This is an old picture as i havnt really bothered with photos for a while, she is going well though. That Saluki pup is also turning out pretty well. There are a lot of rabbits around down here at the minute. All the best

I totally agree with you there Skycat. Also I think that Grounenadal cross is a stunning wee dog. If I were to go for a shepherd cross, I think the first type of shepherd I would try would be the Rough coated Dutch Shepherd. cheers mate, i like to think she is a good little dog myself

Sophie, a Groenadal greyhound ratehr than the Mali cross, a toch more sensible i reckon.

My saluki bitch is to be lined by a freinds working ACD next week. This breeding is for my own use and one or two other local dog people, however if there are surplas pups then i would seek to home them with those of you that work your dogs regularly. As this is what you might call an experimental breeding then homes in which the puppies will be tested to the full as working dogs would be best. The only price i ask is that of feedback on their progress. I know there are one or two people with expierience of similar crosses on this forum and would welcome any opinions from them or anyone els

All depends how much time youve got to give them i reckon. Ones too many if you havnt got the time to devote to it. That being said, ive got 4 myself

I have a Springer/Bedlington cross bitch whos six years old and great for bushing. I have given her a cutsie poo name too, i reckon shes a BEDSPRING. Ive been thinking about putting a freinds terrier over her for my next generation of bushing dogs. But im unsure as to how many working homes i could find find as i only want to keep a couple of the pups.

Firstly id like to underline the fact that im not claiming to have a world class dog in this post, im only using her as an example of my question. Sophie, a 4 year old bitch of mine is a Belgian/greyhound half cross, not a very racey looking sort of animal, and definately not a show winner! However she is a reliable working dog at night, collecting some reasonable hauls of rabbits on the lamp. She is also a good dog to use during bushing/ general mooching with terriers etc and marks reliably. This morning whilst excersing the dogs she marked a small hole and after she had pulled a small stone

If Hook played at fly half i think the welsh would do much better,Ireland played cynically and were on the right side of a couple of shocking decisions by the referee. O'connel should have been binned for tackling the man without the ball, clear to the line i think it could have even been a penalty try. Im not a massive fan of the Welsh but im getting fed up with hearing how good the Irish are when im yet to see much evidence of it.

What sthils do you use then mate? I ve got an old 038, a 3 year old 440 and best off all the DADDY- THE 880. The biggest chainsaw in the world The beast from the east we call it! Ive never seen a saw cut like it but its bloody heavy and it if it kicks can take me off my feet, and im nearly 16 stone!
