  1. No mate. The big ones down here were,Sunrise parties,Raindance,Dance 90,91,92 and World Dance. Then the clubs started getting all night licences.Apart from that it was all the smaller parties like the ones we were putting on which I always enjoyed more anyway
  2. About as much into hardcore as I got before it all got a bit too gimmicky and cringy ???
  3. If you was born in 92 you aint never been raving ???
  4. Oh no that happy hardcore stuff was f***ing awful. And them c**ts in white gloves blowing f***ing whistles and horns was even worse.
  5. A lot of the early acid house stuff was a lot slower. It wasnt untill 92ish when it all started getting much more commercialised that it all started getting a lot faster.
  6. How about a bit of chicago Hip house Francie?
  7. One that always gets the crumpet on the dancefloor
  8. Another old classic just for you Francie
  9. Tune was big in the acid days pre 91.My pal still plays it from time to time now if the crowd is right.Over 50s???
  10. If you remember this from back in the day you can definitely class yourself an old school raver.
  11. Missed out on 4 trips 2020.2 long weekends in the Dam.A fortnight in a Villa the North end of Mallorca with my pal and our Daughters and a fortnight in a villa with 7 of my pals in ko Samui Thailand.Luckily got most of our dough back for the 2 Dam trips and the Thailand trip and the Villa company have rescheduled our fortnight for this July in Spain but aint holding out much hope for shit being back to normal by then.
  12. Exactly what I was saying at the start of this thread. We sat on a balcony looking down watching that Deborah De Luca play a few years back and shed be busy dancing as a new track was coming in then a few minutes later shed be pushing buttons and twisting knobs and nothing would be happening and she wore her headphones round her neck for the whole set.Anyone who knew anything could see it was pre recorded.Luckily for her the whole crowd were too busy pouting into their phones to notice.
  13. Seen a few different imported ones apparently from working bloodlines. One did very well winning a very competitive working trial. All the rest were gobby,Scatty, hyperactive bags of shit.
  14. f***ing hated jungle.,Moody Crackhead niggers robbing everyone and taking libertirs with birds. The death of old school raves
  15. Im guessing you was at the height of your partying around 96/97 by the tracks you're putting up mate.
  16. Really??Bloody good DJ and knows how to read a crowd which is what a lot of these modern DJs lack as they've already got their set pre programmed before they turn up.
  17. He did too.Nick Warren was another one who would end his set with it too as would a good mate of mine who I mentioned earlier. All DJs in their 50s.Heard it played out over here in Amsterdam, Germany,Prague and SE Asia and it always makes the crowd pop.A right f****r to follow up if you're the next DJ on.
  18. First released in 1990 probably the start of what became labelled as trance.Still sounds solid today and never fails to get eveyone rocking whenever and wherever its played.
  19. One of my pals still pulls this one out from time to time if he thinks it looks like the right crowd.Usually gets things going.
  20. One of my pals was smashing the hell out of that tune around 96ish along with born slippy. Both used on the trainspotting soundtrack.
  21. Yeah few good tunes but I dont remember them club tunes with the same fondness as the tunes from the paties of 88/92
  22. Last one was a bit happy,Smiley. This one is more dark and dirty
