The thing up here is they are locating them out on the moor/bog which is only accessible by foot, even I have trouble getting to my peat banks with a tractor and that's got bog wheels on, I recently sank it just going to collect the peats.

My problem with this is, as with any divers bottles is they need a test, for diving (one year) or for filling, filling is normally three years, if it's not tested they can refuse to refill them! Correct me if I am wrong?

I didn't realize how lucky I am until I read this thread. I bought my first house twenty years ago for eight thousand pounds cash, sold it after a few years for double the money then bought another with cash left to do it up, another few years later sold that and bought another and did the same. After telling the wife of my little exploit, she thinks the woman probably just didn't get the joke and thought I was being rude, she also thinks I should go and apologize! exactly the poor scraggly thing has made it passed two working lurchers, three cats and five people, No sport in killing a 'visitor' to the house!! we've had allsorts come and visit us since we've made a little front garden! nice to have nature on your doorstep.....quite literally!! I would go for the castle honeymoon mate, very romantic and all that, there are plenty out there and then check out the local attractions etc. Obviously depends what sort of money your prepared to pay though too. Try here! Edit : Seems me and Irish Lurcher have the same sort of idea, you only need photo ID to get into Eire I might add though and Eire is a beautiful place.

Consumer rights here, repair or replace or refund, they tried repairing it so go down the road of replace if they refuse ask for a refund and go elsewhere. If you have any trouble try trading standards.

nice one was it just on a day trip boat ? It wasnt from a day trip no. It was from a friends boat. i was trolling a big blue rama squid at 150 ft down. It hit and was air born in 3 seconds. It was then about 500ft down in less than 7 seconds. They were pouring water on the reel and over me. The canal it came from was the bridgewater.... No it is dead yes, as it died while being unhooked. We usually let them go after being tagged. They are a magical thing, and a msytery of the sea.... I was out in town a few weeks ago with the wife and an attractive young lady asked me if I had the time, I answered "well hell yeah but what will we do with the wife", the wife is only just speaking to me again after that one. I was in town this morning and was in a shop, the lady went round the back to find me something on her return she said "sorry about your wait", well I can never resist a line like that so replied "hey your not so slim yourself" well bugger me she was not a happy bunny and asked me to leave the shop. Some people have no sense of humour huh.

Have had the same myself, I don't think its uncommon. Maybe at closer range you don't get the same impact or trauma that a thirty yard shot will have, if it is a close range shot, the ammo maybe won't have the same shock wave at that velocity. or maybe even they have such small brains they don't know they should be dead!
