For once i agree there,to be fair anyone comming out with a statement saying bull x's are useless have either never seen one work or seen the shittest of the shittest bull x the owner likelys the problem ive a 3/4 grey 1/4 bull airedale grey ctaches rabbits for fun if i give the dog a fair chance she will catch 9-10, i now alot of people that use bull x for lamping some alot heavier than others used for teeth quarry so rabbits itsnt what the excell at saying that i know a lad off here that doesnt run his on rabbits only because he's a power house of a dog one night we were out and seen nothing

It's the same all over the country mate, they have dogs 2 minutes,get rid and then get another one. It's the norm with some nowadays they don't keep em 2 minutes. I know someone who had 23 dogs in 2 years!!!! he kept buying older dogs out the freeadds and surprise surprise they were never any good. I thought he'd have learnt his lesson after the first couple but no he kept on buying and selling!!! don't deserve dogs IMO. I always bring pups on, that way if they don't make the grade you've only yourself to blame. If they havn't time to bring a pup on they they havn't time for a dog IMO. T

Aye very good, glad to know you care In the info' pack i got it did say some of the routes were dangerous and coming down you've to stick to the path you went up for the fear of sheer cliff faces............ffs Its all for a good cause so a f*****g machine like myself should manage it no sweat....... its not too bad mate, i did it in 90s with army...just take it steady on way up and dont go to close to edge lol...but what ever weather go prepared with spare kit,food,water etc.

If you had a gun with you mate i would say your half way there ,but then again they could say it hadnt been shot as you missed so you werent sending dog to retrive fox but setting dog on fox ...just my view

A place i use to go 23years ago was over run with pigs, one farmer said he shot one in chicken pen ,then a neighbour farmer showed us a set where he said there once lived a pig that a couple years before killed about 12 lambs how true this is i dont know he said the pig use to target the ewes with twins.

The dogs don't kill the Deer. They catch and hold them. Sounds like you know an awful lot about it though!!! You want to get a better dog then................................. If the dog isn't actively trying to kill it he ain't gonna be HOLDING for very long. I have seen dogs kill all species of deer up to sika size with very little fuss except on the biggest of bucks then it gets interesting Running deer was a passion of mine pre 2005 but rabbits are my only game now but here is my opinion on things for what it's worth.
