That's iodine ain't it mate? Pottassium permanganate turns stuff purple. Brown is the colour that it turns when it oxidises..It starts off purple. Sorry, carry all sorts of trivia around in this thick scull of mine.. Know the feeling.... Still forget to send of for me bike tax though....

I find Aldi bread goes mouldy rather too fast. Often make my own with a breadmaker. Can't beat decent kippers on fresh bread.....

The only conclusive way of proving that an animal is a polecat is by mitochondrial DNA analysis. You can't go by looks because a fair proportion of the 'wild polecat' population are hybrids with feral ferret populations.

Not as Leeview, anyway. My views on line breeding etc have been aired here. They haven't changed, but might if genetic research indicates otherwise. I've never claimed that all ferrets would work well. My point was (and still is) that working ability is independent of breeding, since it's complex behavioural trait, not an inherited one. You claimed that working ability could beenhanced by breeding. Half your problem with me is that you simply don't understand the concepts I'm trying to get across.
