have to disagree mate why would anyone try all different types when you have what you need ? you try all different types as a novice until you find your feet and find what is needed and i would say training and getting a dog right for competition is the easiest thing to do just getting one in condition now getting one in comdiotion and peaking it at the right time over 5 month with all that can happen when there hard at it thats another thing bit talking about the lad in the topic just the breed blind lol i couldn’t resist lol

i’ll show you a pure saluki is on par with out mate at some point lol coursing breds are breeding to type quality but there is plenty to choose from loads lines from same family a dogs saluki wise it’s always been harder to get them to use or a stud etc same today hardly any saluki breeders would want me having a pup or sell them with conditions etc a poacher with them living out side lol no chance
