After giving the matter some thought (about 30 seconds ) i decided to chuck the pills at the back of the medicine cabinet,and leave the dog be.Now after 6 day's,there is still no imflamation,redness,etc etc,and the coat is starting to grow back.Dog hasn't licked, scratched,or even looked at the bald patch.Should i take the matter further with this vet? i'm really not happy that they've had my business for year's,and they let a kwak,rub her hand over the bald patch,lecture me about flea's,and then prescribe two lot's of shite and charge me £30.I don't begrudge parting with £30,but i'm beginni

Yeh skycat,i got a couple of them water hounds too mate.My lurchers aint so keen but i can't keep the feckin terrier's out the drink,and i've never encouraged them,they just go flying straight in whenever there near water.

Thats exactly it Moll,looks like the hairs have been cut rather than it being bald skin.Reckon the vet is a feckin quack.£28.75 for feckall,really don't like giving my dog's any kind of tablets if i can help it,what dya think i should do?

Thanks mate,but can't understand the diagnosis,or the two lots of medication,as the dog isn't scratching and i cant see any sign of flea's.My usual trick is to check visually on the underside then give the dog a wipe over with a baby wipe,no blood no fleas.

Walked the dog's before work this morning, and noticed my terrier bitch had a bald patch about two inche's long on her back.Have just arrived back from the vet,her diagnosis was flea's! the cheeky fecker even gave me a dressing down about why the dog had flea's.I told her to check her records and she'd see that i buy quite a lot of Frontline from them,what the feck did she think i was doing with the stuff,drinking it? The dog's get done every 12 weeks,and in all honesty Frontline ain't that cheap.I haven't seen any of the dog's scratching and neither had the bitch,i just noticed the bald patc

Most modern diesels run very close piston to valve clearance,should the head need facing,then thicker gaskets are available.Most are identified by notchs cut into the outer edge,the more notches the thicker it is.Might be working as a navvy now,but served my time as a mechanical engineer/machinist.Two gaskets is a NO,NO.

Here's my hancocks shite here.5/8,3/8 grey x beardie.Luckily i was given the dog by my brother so at least i wasn't out of pocket..What a let down this dog has been over the years.Not only has she taken ALL quarry pre ban,she is 100% around livestock and other dog's,love's kids,can jump and run like a gazelle,and she won't even pull up and bark like there supposed to. Took the words out my mouth bobo.My daughter is 10 and she's been shooting an s200 for the last couple of years.Got her a ratcatcher to start,but there a wee bit underpowered for the bunneys. Id take Bobo up on his offer of the s200 madhunter,cracking wee gun and small and light enough for a young un.

Can't believe this feckin weather.I work in the building trade,and seem to be having more days off this summer than last winter! Worst thing is what can you do with the dogs at this time of year,at least if yer rained off in the winter you can find other things to do
