  1. Flying fox on this site does them as well mulz, any size etc. ATB
  2. Thomas" hitman" hearns v's hector "macho man" camacho, unlikely to be beaten imo for two out and out hard , very talented, fighters. Rip.
  3. Now then, i ha a very similar thing happen a couple of weeks ago, nail snapped in half, quick was visible, kept it clean, wasnt bothering him, few weeks later, trip to the vet, infection had got in via the quick up into the toe, vet visit £55, not sure how to advise you really mate, but i wouldnt excercise it on soil / fields for a short while just in case the same happens to yours, first time i ever saw it tbh, but dogs have lost nails completely before, but not snapped in half, keep it clean and keep an eye on it if i was you fella, just to be on the safe side.
  4. I have one of these torches, and i cant remember what power the bulb is myself, it has got a hell of a light on it, and by pulling the lense cover back it goes from a bog standard wide beam to a pencil beam, really good torch. The only thing i dont like about it is the high power, low power and strobe settings, but for that price they are a bargain, and the batteries last a good while as well. A very good, robust, strong beamed torch for not much money, cant go wrong imo.
  5. cattryse, mostly blues lol, no matter what the loft is made put of stig, as long as its dry and draught free, they will race to it. outside toilets and orange boxes have had fed toppers racing to them mate.
  6. i remember dordins lol, my mate used to fly croppers, i think hugh cropper. i flew sprint middle distance really, widowhood only. I only had a 16 x 8 loft, yb's, widow cocks and stock birds in it, my widow hens were in my dads garage, out of eye and ear shot lol. i suppose in hidsight, i did pretty good given my circumstances, i really enjoyed it though, and still miss it to this day, sad really, but very very true.
  7. I had an alf baker cock come into my loft once and a donaldson of dunbar mealy hen, transferred them to me, bred them, they produced a red cheq cock that flew every race as well as thurso, won me the thurso cup, and mostly the old bird scottish averages on his own lol. you got to try a strapper now and again lol
  8. i went to massarellas once, what a f****n eye opener, mega business. Your offer of young birds christian, i dont think ppl realise the bloodlines in these birds, they are the real deal. I hope they go for a good price and to someone who will use them in the loft to great effect.
  9. apparently mate it works a treat, its like those silica granules in sachets that you often have stuff delivered in that are succeptible to any sort of moisture, just keeps drawing it into the granules and away from the sensitive stuff. Let us know how you get on with it, I like single malt but any mixer will do at a push
  10. as mad as this sounds fella, put it in a bowl of dry rice grains, uncle bens, tescos any f*****g make will do , any moisture inside that battery thats not meant to be there will be drawn out by the dry rice. Apparently this method is also very effective at drying your mobile phone out if you have dropped it in the khasi ( after removal first of solids etc obviously ). Hope it helps.
  11. if you were in competition mate, you'd be allowed 3 shots to foul / warm your barrell ( i think), when your in the field your taking the first shot, with a cold barrell, so i'd be more inclined to zero from cold, because the first round you send at the target from a cold barrell, is the first round you'll be sending at your selected prey species. Its the first one that counts B

  19. i used to zero at 100yds, then once zeroed, fire at your target at 200 yds and see where the point of impact is ( normally an inch or so below i'sh ) so you know how much to allow for a longer shot, then try a group at 50 yds, prob be slightly higher, so again you'll know how much to allow for. The .222 has a very flat trajectory mate, so your point of impact from 50 out to 200 yds wouldnt be a great deal different, but just so that you know what it actually is, it always pays to spend time on your range zeroing, as in all sports, but particularly in any sort of accuracy orientated sport,
