i agree if a dog doesnt have it , it doesnt have it and theres nothing anyone can do about than a lurcher needs brains and balls ut if it comes from shite it wont be much the apple doesnt fall to ar from the tree
and if i was in england scotland or wales i wouldnt waste my time with lurchers if not gonny hunt what u want anyway you only hunt rabbits to get your dogs fit.
looks a handy sort, how is he bred? does he retrieve hares?
he is only 14 months so has only done a few rabbits, maybe 30 odd. he is bull/grey x saluki/whippet/grey.
nothin better than a pitbull greyhound in my opinion
whippetts have pace but no stamina you dont get them running fast for anymore than 60 or 70 yards which 99% of the time is usless for hares
you cant go wrong with a pitbull greyhound or collie greyhound but definitely not a full whippett
they are class mate like big massive wheaton greyhounds almost would be better 5/8ths greyhound or even 3/4 greyhound but they are bad b*****ds all the same they would remind you of a pitbull greyhound the way they hunt
