Throwing traps away after 20 catches

cant be very good traps if they weaken after 20 can they?i would of thought theyd last a lot longer than that -
it would depend on how many eggs your gonna need,during spring/summer you should get one egg per bird per day as a guide most chickens hardly lay in winter so id say 4,because youve got to give them plenty of room to run around,at least 5 mtrs long and 3mtrs wide. happy chickens will lay you eggs but get a book mate,theres lots to know about diet/diseases and so on. good luck with that nice fresh eggs

the bantham is smaller than the average chicken and therefore lay smaller eggs. they like to perch so you will need to build one as they like to spend most of the time outside rather than spend time in a hen house.

theres alot to learn on the subject,fencing will be expensive if you have fox in the area because it will need to be strong and high good egg layers are isa browns,they average 200-250 per year. welsomers average 100 per year and their eggs are known for their beauty if you intend on eating chickens then you want ross cobbs,they are bred to put on weight at a fast rate,but if you want to eat your chickens you will need a cockerel because you need fertile eggs,you could borrow one if you find the number of your local poultry club i would suggest buying a book tho mate because theres more to

thats why i set this post up i spent £20 over 3 week and still not happy with anyid stick to the hand made ones but i find they break easy. they do break easy,but at least it costs nothing,out of interest has anyone tried andre georgescu's fox caller? iv'e got alot of respect for him but am sceptical about it

FIGHT THE BAN,they are good im glad someone else uses them,some blokes look at me like ive escaped from somewhere when i mention it,its one to be tried before slating,sometimes they dont work but i bet the shop brought ones dont get em sometimes aswell

i have never used a marketed one,ive always made my own which i find more satisfying. BLUE PETER TIME i split alength of hazel(between 2-4 inches long) into 2 then shave a mm or 2 on inside of both pieces. next a length of cassette tape about 6 inches longer gets placed neatly on one half of hazel,place the other half on top of the other fold tape over one end and tape in place,now pull the other end tight and fold and tape that end,job done. you can make as many as you want on trial and error by making one with slightly loose tape inside to one that has tight tape,for the record i take

up to you i cant see a problem,probably best to do the both it should work out cheaper,i cant remember to be honest,good luck with that,if you havent already,get a cabinet because they will come round your house to check before they approve the license
