    fred j was a true country gent and for years iv'e enjoyed reading his articles in the shooting/fishing magazines. his recipe's for cooking game were something else and im truly sadenned to here of his death and i will be having a drink to him tonight. r.i.p fred,you were one of the best

    i love nights,you see the wildlife you would'nt normally see during the day(owls,badgers etc)im just drawn to the night. i used to be a carp angler and during the summer i used to crash out under the stars staring at shooting stars,the air seems fresher and i love the stillness of the night,and deffinately better bags whether it's hunting or fishing

    especially with fish,for some reason the f*****g flys cover the fish with eggs more than anything else as i found out with a nice 9lb bass once

    anti-bacterial spray would be better mate,i would'nt use disinfectant,flies are a pain in the arse

    my bitch got attacked by some f*****g mongrel a couple of years ago,she walked home as she seemed fine but in the morning she didnt come out of her kennel,was just lying there,took her to the vets and it turned out she walked half a mile with a broken back,she had to be put down,hard as f**k dogs for their size

    im not being funny mate but dead owls on the roadside arent that easy to come by,and how long can you keep an owl in and out of a freezer for?

    be carefull mate,its got to be your land,i wont repeat whats already been said your better off finding the rules and regulations on the net and printing them so youve got it in black and white

    my father in law(outlaw)has been a terrierman for 40 years and has never bothered with the yearly boosters,and has had no problems it's all crap that makes the vets money and leaves you a few quid poorer

    yes,if it's your land and you can prove that deer are causing damage to saplings you can,with a minimum of AAA shot but i think only you or a family member can actually shoot them

    hugh fearnley whittingstall's books are a must have for anyone that eats what they shoot,some good recipe's in them,and it gives me good idea's. i love woody's,very tasty

    brilliant,light the bbq up,good catch and good eating guys

    get up,have a wash,sort the dog out,have breakfast(about 11)go to the pub and get pissed,watch the football with more beer,go home(with take outs) have a row about drinking with the other dog,drink my take outs,then go to bed.average sunday really as i dont tend to drink during the week,p****d up with a shotgun is not a good idea!

    This one always sits on top of this pole outside my house. See how he is watching me as I crept closer to get a good pic! you must of been close to get a good shot like that mate,whilst walking through my woods i disturbed an owl!at around 12,never ever seen one at that time of day before,she must of had young to feed,great sight and well chuffed
