    To safe guard the land you have permission on!,I have worked hard to gain what I have,I don't know them and don't want to be in anyway associated with them,grassing on other dog men?,they are just men with dogs!who have no regard for man nor beast,who shouldn't even own a f***ing canary,I've been on the otherside of the fence,and had respect,look after your own,and if that means calling up the landowner i do it,it boils my piss, next thing they know who you are and your dogs are gone,fekkless men with dogs.

    What gets me even more is the fact,the dogs were more than likely stolen,and would have been left,they don't care two feks,if you take a chance and drive the land expect what's coming,someone will get badly hurt or killed,and them arsewipes will laugh about it,last year I saw a farmer ram a fourtrack in the ditch,they left the dogs,and ran,plod got them took the dogs and crushed the motor,they don't care,later that week bale stacks went up in smoke,you can't blame landowners for being irrate,when we were old boys we,d have a run and leave,no damage ,no conflict,if you got captured,by landowner

    Bit of back luck there,been breeding ferrets for a lot of years now,and I've come to the conclusion,they are not as easy to breed and keep as fellas would have you believe,for the last three years I've bred none,and now I have two litters,just hope they all come good,I've taken to feeding late evening in the summer,because of flies,wasps,etc,done nothing different until now,for 40year,I think its just bad luck,some years I've done well,reared 3 litters and lost none,last year I lost all my workers and had to buy fresh stock, I don't think I'd worry about an ortopsy,take it as it comes and star

    I remember Doug,got my first lamp kit from him,met him few times back in the day,he used get to the gamefair,when it was run by the cla,they didn't like him because they said he sold too much stuff for poachers,nice fella,must over 40yr ago,you could get some rare stuff from him,still got my original lamp, the old blue eye,wonder what ever happened to him?

    I'd like to know more,did the men who bred them keep to type,as in their own standards,their origin,bred from what,how did they come about?and who decided cork whites? I keep and work my own strain of border,also if they are all over Ireland how can you be that sure you can trust everyone,I've gifted pups and found out they have been moved on,so now it never happens,lads I thought were mates,good luck to them,atb dd

    Borders are great,however they take time to come into their own,I have a young dog I bred,he's 2yrs now and starting to take interest,with a bit of what you ask them,they will do it,some lads don't have time for borders,but when they come on,you will know,abt did.
