  3. the real answer is to deal with the fuckwits (properly)..........that f**k it up for all us decent lads!!!! and bring in a licensing scheme..............if only to give harder sentencing to anyone that dosn't have one!!
  4. might of been a womble............their white arn't they????
  5. Spot on skinny no players play with pride for their country now its all about money. The rot started years ago though when Trevor Francis became the first million pound transfer. Who the feck would that buy now? me!!!!!!!!!!!!.............and i'd play for less than 100k a week!!!!!!!!! a lot less , and probably with more pride than any of the money grabbing tossers that are there now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. oh well............guess ive got 598 left then!!!!!!!!
  7. personally i like the walnut stock model better.............but at the end of the day its down to personal choice............and the mechanism is the same.............but there does seem to be a growing trend for the tactical look...............go for it mate, im sure you wont be dissapointed. regards sean
  8. sorry don't know the gun in question...........what problems are you having???? on a gun of that age its probably worn sears in the trigger mechanism or just general wear and tear, strip it down and check every thing i'm sure it will be fairly obvious. regards sean
  9. having lived in few differant areas......there dosn't seem to be a fixed time for squirrel activity!! but if you watch and learn their behaviour patterns you should get the results your after. dont forget to look on the ground as well as in the tress............they are easier to see on the ground and spend a lot of time foraging!! if you put a hand full of peanuts down in the same place everyday you'll end up constructing your own personal kill zone..................not very sporting...but if you need to cull them ?!?!? good luck mate sean
  10. nice mooch mate...........good results!! keep it up regards sean

try re-setting the resolution of the image to a smaller setting??
  12. perhaps try charging your gun to about 160/170 bar and see if that has any alteration??? it may be as simple as the gun working at its optimum at a certain pressure!?!? other than that........some one with a little more experience may offer an explanation!! sorry cant be any more help regards sean

  15. thats a bloody tricky one mate?????????? seems as though youv'e thought of every thing!!! i only use pellets with pellet lube.............after my last zeroing session......makes a huge difference to accuracy..........but this dosnt sound like your problem?? have you tried using a gun rest............it might be you pulling the gun slighty?? worth a try........rules one more thing out!! regards sean
  16. manufacturers always seem to air on the side of caution. a heavier pellet i.e. magnums could be running at 11.9 ft/lbs just leagal!! but with a lighter pellet......you will get sub 10ft/lbs. i would guess that % of airguns have never been chrono'd..............i know mine hasn't and ive had plenty of rabbits this year......a average weight pellet at 35/40 yds in .22 fired at 11ft/lbs is travelling at around 6ft/lbs at point of impact.........still kills the bunny.........worked as a percentage a pellet fired at 10 ft/lbs at the same distance would hit the target at around 5.5ft/lb
  17. similar article in this last weeks shooting times. scottish parliment are wanting to license guns in scotland but the british government say that gun control has to stay at westminster!! plus if there was a licensing scheme in scotland and not in england.........how would you take your air gun over the border~??????? i think a relaxed version of the FAC is all that could be done....but as has already been said...if people want a gun they'll get one. aren't drugs illeagal??????................i rest my case!!!
  18. lightning for me mate...............but both quality guns................hard choice! but as iv'e said bsa for me!!
  19. i suppose he's got what he wanted (if it is serious)..........................lots of publicity!!!!!!!!!!! fair play!!!

    Running

i run with the dog ( but not for long)...............and used to when i was younger. they say if you increase tour heart rate to around 140 bpm for 20 mins a day......thats a good start. good luck with it sean
  23. the towns and citys have spread out to the countryside with no clear defining border, as there used to be.........there always seemed to be somthung between the edge of town and the countryside............small scale industrial estates, and the like. along with the fact that were a bunch of dirty buggers and urban pickings are easy pickings for the less shy critters, no urban otters yet?? my step son lives in london and he sees more foxes now than he did living here in the lakes. the difference is our foxes are red..........stunning red. the ones he sees are red/grey..........
  24. old john terry must of had his eye on that big bottle of heiniken!!!!!!!!!!
