    i've just been on to the council and the allotment closest to me is run by a committee, i'm just waiting for the nice lady to call me back to see if there is any plots available, so i will have to wait the prices don't seem bad, 2008/2009 Charges for council run sites Full plot: 250 sq m £28.00 per year Half plot : 125 sq m £14.00 per year Plots with water supply are an extra £10 per year for each half plot and £15 for each full plot.
