Bernard, when I find out, I'll let you know!

  5. Jasper, I see your point and makes sense. I can remember always having good hatch ratings with my old parrot inc. But like you have mentioned, all I read about is how a lot of these inc do not keep a regular steady temp. I'm going to use my one for small amounts of poultry and pheasant eggs. So what I'm after is something small and Reliable. I know how it feels (sure you do too) when an inc fails! That's a good link. Thanks for that.

I saw a whippet take down a lovely Red Stag today. Bowled it over like a ball of fluff!

  11. The Red dog looks very fit indeed. I know you cannot judge by looking at a photo, but that has to be for me the best dog I've seen to date. Cracker!
  12. Jasper, that's some piece of kit! Looks very professional and pricey? The temp problem is my concern with incubators. Moll/Paid, yes I was looking at those ones. Do they hold the temp ok? Do they do a smaller version? What price should I pay for one? Thanks for your replies.
  13. It's been a long while sinced I used one. The last one I owned was a massive metal square thingy for parrots, it had a hole in the top to slide the thermometer in, and I filled the bottom tray with water. I also turned the eggs 3 times a day myself. It did the job though and hatched many chicks. Now I'm ready to get back into the swing of things, and had a shock to see how many there are on the market. Semi auto's, Full auto's, fan cooled, electric timers........... I've had a little look at some reviews, but still none the wiser! What do you reccomend or use? It will be for po
  14. A cracking morning!

  16. Welcome Maggie, I'm sure the members would like to hear you tales of high adventure!
  17. STONE THE FECKERS TO DEATH!
  18. Agree JD, I used a riding crop. That soon corrects them.
  19. Didn't realise it was Scotland. I don't judge by the flag under the avatars. Many different rules over there compared to here. All the best to your uncle.
  20. So we have your uncle walking his dog on a lead. He was then approached by three marked police vehicles. All the officers exited their vehicles and approached your uncle and questioned him about what in particular? Then did they arrest your uncle, or did your uncle go voluntarily to the police station? They were watching your uncle for a short amount of time. Where was your uncle walking prior to being stopped? What was he arrested for? They charged your uncle for what section of the deer act? Can you see where this going.................
  21. You looked frightened near that beast JD? BOO! Anyway, those rumours of you having a proud nose, (I have one) you sure have painted a small one there..... Bloody liars they are!
  22. A lovely morning sorting cover for the goldens.

  23. There's a location near my village where a deer park is situated, Many footpaths go through the park. The amount of dogs from labs to terriers that get forced away by red stags. When I'm on free time I often help out with the keepers, we all do, and on our merry travels we have found dead dogs (not very often) with horrific injurys caused by the stags. Two of these incidents hit the local news. When you study these deer, and I mean if your lucky enough to have them on your door step, you will see a hell of a lot from them, and it doesn't compare to what you read in books, seeing these
