Whin, you seem a well educated person when it comes to hunting with dogs. I have also noticed with you that you do not praise many dogs that have been posted on here. Thats a good thing in my books, shows that you have the eye and that you post only quality no quantity. How i see it is like this, you talk about big stuff, ok so deer is on the agender, yes? What i like to see in a dog that would of taken deer is strong shoulders, neck and jaw, this way the deer doesnt drag the dog all over the place like a kite (Hope your reading this Yote Dan Edwards) There are plenty deerhound crosses

Whin your stuck in the 's mate, a bit like me I have seen many many deerhounds that did take fox, the lot. I agree not as many now, but thats because of many different reasons, the ban is one of them. Im talking pure deerhounds Whin, i assume your are to?

Just a point in relation to restoring the deerhound. Would it not be better to put a stag hound into the mix as it contains the blood of the original old school working deer hound? I dont see how putting bull blood into a deerhound will fix any problem. And im not talking about breeding for type here , im dead against that kc shit. what im saying is that these staghounds contain deerhound blood that is old stock and not kc and are probably like what the scotish deerhound would look like if the kc didnt make shit of them. im not talking about any few genuine working deerhounds left before someo

Thats a good start Kay. My brother is in his 7th year, loves it, espeacially the sleeping. Another underpaid job, all frontline services should be top of all, however as you know, its not the money people join frontline work its the dedication to help others in the community. Thats why they deserve respect for what they do. He looks very happy, all the best.

Its not Nora, its about reading the press release properly. The police havent got time to race up and down after naughty boys with dogs, however they respond to the public's needs. So if they get a call they attend and act on it. police over here wont come out till the next day if some c**t robs youre house,yet wastes money arresting hunters.
