    Seems to be a LOT of fallow round there FD! What are the bucks like are they good condition? Or are the antlers not as good due to the number of deer and obviously not as much food as there could be per deer? Cheers BFTB

    Never heard of thrushes or starling roosting out in open fields! I saw golden plover the other night, they are usually easy to spot sat about in a loose flock.

    Yeah as DnN said I shot this rabbit, And whilst in the process of gutting the others came to this one and felt the 'lumps'. Being my usual self, feeling the lumps you have to look inside them, and just as you found. The dead dry foetuses, I didn't get any pictures of the dead foetus as I didnt really want a dead foetus on my camera! But a wierd find. BFTB

    I have some fly fishing tackle for sale that just never gets used anymore. Firstly there is a ron thompson 14ft salmon fly rod 9-10, in great condition hardly ever used. £60. Secondly a viper sea-trout/trout fly rod 9'6" 6-7 also in great condition with a little more use than the salmon rod. £30 A lastly Greys GRXi reel witht eh four spare spools, 2 of the spools have lines on ones floating the other intermediate. £60 OR ONO.     My spaniel did that when I was out on the grouse moor beating. Just lay down, he didnt pass out or anything he just would move and when you stood him up he would stay in that 'locked' position. So I put him in the van for the rest of the day to have a good rest. He wasnt ina good way though. There was a beat on the next day aswell so I thought i'll try again and see if giving him some chocolate after the first drive would help. After the first drive I gave him a chunk and he was fine for the rest of the day, full of energy. So dairymilk does the job or a stronger energy thingy is 'GLUTALYTE' t
