  11. How good is "good" recall. There is no stopping him when in chase, but when he's seen it through he always comes back. (When I say chase, I mean squirrels in the park...) However, he has got injured chasing on the moor, falling down a cattle grid. Could also see him run into gorse or other thorny bushes and being ripped to shreds. Is this just cause he is a racer and there were no obstacles on the track? Can I ever teach him to mind terrain or ME when in the chase? Can you ever train a greyhound to STOP chasing on command? Thankful for more advice from everyone.... get him out a

  13. get it on raw and stop giving it commercial shite,any part if the chicken, bones as well as long as its raw,tripe, beef,lamb ribs neck heart,rabbit,just look in the reduced fridge at your local supermarket youl be amazed what you can get for so little,its what dogs are designed to eat and youl have an healthier dog because of it,just remember if its raw its fine and get it off the comercial stuff...it really is shite
  14. the only things i can comment on are what ive owned, bullxs and salx and i couldnt fault either,i think the majority of lurchers will guard if bonded properly,so id say its up to you what you prefer

  17. im no expert on greyhounds mate but i once had a patterdale that used to lose hair pretty badly,the vet after numerous scrapings and tests said it was allergic to grass and try to keep him away from it anyway a friend recommended a cream called camrosa ointment,and it was brilliant it cleared it up in no time,google it,it may be worth a look
