  1. i dont understand it mate,i took my dog literally off the vets table and after a phone call straight to the pdsa there was no fecking about
  2. i would urge you not to take it to the rspca mate get in with the pdsa heres the difference when i took the same dog to both of em RSPCA...."is this dog used for running sir" ME....."yes" RSPCA...."im sorry sir but the extent of the break means that wouldnt be possible" ME...."goodbye" i took the same dog to the pdsa PDSA...."do you use this dog for running sir" ME...."yes" PDSA...."dont worry sir she will be fine" enough said mate
  3. ive had two dogs break a leg,the 1st time as ive said earlier the 2nd happened while lamping,so the pdsa was shut so i took her to an emergency vet they set her leg and cast it,the next morning i went to see her and they said that it would possibly need some pins in it,so i paid the £125 for work done and took my dog out of there right away, once home i rang the pdsa and told them what happened so i just tranferred her to them and again job done no pins no daylight robbery, they just got the local vet to fax over the details of the work they had done and the pdsa carried on from there
  4. or why can you not register it with the pdsa
  5. tell em to feck off mate theyve no right to neuter your dog, could you not explain your predicament to a decent local vet with regards to paying, theres some decent 1s out there yet
  6. so hes not a woman then if you go out with him mate,id lamp with my back to the hedges and if you drop the fox call for gods sake dont pick it up
  7. some people cant afford it mate
  8. bollox to the rspca i wouldnt take anything to them c**ts,same thing happened to me a good few yrs back the rspca said the same thing it needs pins and neutering so i fecked em off and tried the pdsa, what a difference they were no pins no questions asked and job done very well indeed it never hindered her in the future
  9. this is all our shithouse governments fault and all them who voted for em cmon lads and lasses what did you really expect a labour government to do theyve done exactly what i knew theyd do...ban hunting and bring the country to its knees, which is why i have never and never will vote for those tosspots,to turn decent law abiding people into criminals is a crime in itself, and come the next election some of you might actually think before you vote, hope the lads get out of this mess smelling of roses
  10. id recommend a laser lite, theyre about the cheapest and pretty good for the money and like you say if your lucky to get out twice a week then itl do the job nicely and wire it to a motorbike battery,a fiver from the scrappers and roberts your dads brother also the laser lites arent to big... perfect for a lady like you and folks....no doublentendres please
  11. cats and patts what a combination good luck mate
  12. well in mate, you,l be feeling the same as i did last week atb
  13. be careful wi the cod liver oil mate especially if your feeding em dry food as this is already overloaded with vits, excess intake of vitamin A can lead to a build up of toxins in the body causing conditions like joint pain lameness and spinal problems,a teaspoon of cod liver oil provides enough vit A for a week for an average size dog,cod liver oil is not necessary for a healthy normal dog that receives a balanced diet
  14. nice dogs lofti atb for the season
  15. mine was a 1st cross saluki grey i owned in the early 80s,29tts and what a dog he was,out of a litter from non working parents and it turned out mine was the only 1 of a litter of 7 that worked,i had him from a pup an he took all quarry with ease but he really excelled on the long ears,i got offered a tidy sum of money for that dog by quite a few coursing men and a traveller once offered me his cortina(which was a decent car then) for him and a few weeks later the same bloke tried to nick him, i had him pts at the age of 8 through lameness il try an get sum pics up if i can find em

  20. hi 'craigyboy' did jade bring them back she's looking a bit racier now and looking good she did mate yeh,i dont think shel ever fetch em back to me alive tho,but i can live wi that she didnt rag em,just crunched their head but the polecats wont mind that, like ive said before ive found her by far the easiest dog ive had to train,it seems she only needs telling or showing things once,i know thats not the case but thats how it seems shes a joy to own,but shes still a mischievous little fecker tho linfords nailed a few easy rabbits and had his first one on the lamp last wk it wasnt brought
  21. cheers mate, ive been hunting 30yrs,i started off ratting, then moved onto digging and now my digging days are over i stick to lamping and ferreting ive also hunted and owned bops so your right i do know the craic, but i dont mind people telling me to take it easy,as they dont know me and scotsman linford looks like hes turning into a fine animal indeed mate
