  5. thanks for the replies dryfood is a bit of a minefield untill you find a good one..im looking at finding one with a lower protien content for the summer and unfortunatly i cant afford anything to expensive having a good few dogs to feed..can anyone recomend a better quality resting dry food that will still keeps a bit of weight on there dogs cheers

  7. real hard decision for you mate guess he could just about get on with three legs dogs adapt well theres a boxer where i walk shoots about on three and if you did rehome him to a pet home after you got all summer to find him a suitable one and get yourself another ps i think theres was someone on here who works a three legged whippet with some success best of luck with what ever you do

  9. been thinking of trying my dogs on redmills tracker for the summer months does anyone use it and do your dogs keep good condition on it? ive been on few sites and cant see the ingredients listed? any help would be greatfully recieved cheers

  13. how do you all feel about sharing your permission? i was thinking along the the lines of the owner letting others on to there land.. it happened to me recently at somewhere i have used mainly for ferreting and have taken good numbers over the years.. the owner has units he lets out and one of tenants approached him for ferreting guess he couldnt say no.. i went to ferret the other day to be told by 4 lads dont bother weve done all round here..got to say it boils my pi## abit... i will say though i think its easier than sharing my lamping permission and i noticed they only attempt the eas
  14. nice one demon a good start for the little fellow i had 5 good years lamping out my old whippit dog before he had a bad injury he would get up behind his quarry in double quick time. i miss running him now all the best in the future

  16. i started off late this morning to my permission to do a hedge where the rabbits have been causing a fare bit of damage dogs worked well and got a few just the one dig at just over a foot so well pleased

  19. hello is there anyone here keeping there ferrets in a chicken coop? i am thinking of housing my group together in one have been looking on a few sites and i can pick a small one up for about £175 they look the biz anyone see any draw backs to using them? the living space would be straight on the ground thinking id use straw on floor with a huge heavy tray in corner for latrine they would have ladder then leading into living quarters to sleep and will also be kept under cover from weather. cheers ps heres a link to the one i like Norfolk coop http://www.ilikesheds.com/Product.aspx?id=3057

  21. interesting topics are already running on collie crosses but thought it would be interesting to see if any of the posters might put up any pics of the collies that were used in the breeding of there lurchers dont matter how far back..cheers reddog
