the landowners had always been happy for their dogs to go in the fields.....although in fact they had never ever gone over that hedge until that night. Furthermore the keeper and underkeeper are 2 of their closest friends and once the police were involved it appears there is an ongoing investigation into poaching and illegal coursing on this particular estate and the police even have an operation name for it! It hasnt been publicised as the owners kids just too upset, however now its 2 weeks on and it will be reciving some publicity. Someone somewhere (although obviously not neccesarily on

yes they heard one shot it was when they put the dog out last thing for a pee at night in their garden(it was literally just over the hedge from their garden) and then a yelp and a 2nd shot...then the lamps went out quick and they heard no more. they went into the field and found a lot of blood spattered grass and some hair from their spaniel but no one or any sign of their dog. the game keeper on the estate is their friend and he came right out and helped them search thru the night but no signs of anything. they really just want to know where they can find the body so they can bury her and

ok guys I really need you to help me here please. 2 weeks ago a terrible incident took place near yealmpton, Devon, and people unknown, believed to be poaching or lamping without permission near yealmpton shot a pet cocker spaniel belonging to a lovely family who live adjacent to the fields. Blood was found immediately at the scene...a lot of blood....but no body. The police believe the spaniels body was removed from the scene by the culprits and dumped elsewhere. The children in this family are devastated and so are the adults. this sweet little bitch was a harmless pet who jumped over into t

well my initial advise is simply DONT DO IT!!!! Clipping just makes it thicker and softer, and for a rough coated dog (lurcher?) it would be a huge mistake....why on earth would you want to clip it??? Anyway that said, and if you dont want to heed the advise, my next advise is get it done professionally unless you want dog to look like badly shorn sheep. final advise if all above is ignored.....then dont buy a pair of £9.99 argos specials they will never be man enough...you need a pair of OsterA5 or Andis pro body, with a no 7f blade.

if your just starting off i would stick to dead day olds and quail and rats from honeybrook or somewhere like that, too many things can go wrong for you with them chickens, parasites internal and external, thing is at the start is to keep it simple and everything should be ok. chris. Got to agree with you chaos, buy day old chicks from a good supplier. I wouldn't bother going to chicken farms and asking for the throw outs there could be to much wrong with them and have Coccidiosis,Blackhead or Hexamitiasis. I only know of 2 good suppliers and they are Honeybrook and Kiezebrink

I was amazed at the westcountry game to see so many huge fat people slowly ambling about. how on earth do they manage to excercise their dogs properly??? I watched 2 huge women with lurchers chain smoking (thats the fat owners not the dogs smoking I hasten to add!) and when they had to walk about 20 yards they could barely put one foot in front of the other for their fatness and coughing.

im afraid to ask what part of your anatomy that is in the photo!!

Bloody hell, you did well there, they put the price up every year for that tin pot affair, they charge almost that for one ticket. We dont go anymore as we felt they take the piss on their entry fee because people are wanting to get back out after the winter lay up. You could accept the price if there were things laid on like at the CLA/ Midland, but there isnt bugger all other than a few stands. Enjoy. what pees me off is that its advertised as westcountry but at least 100miles upcountry ,and by the time you pay for fuel and tickets its an expencive day out for not a great deal ,but

will never forget my deerhounds 1st slip on a roe.....she coursed it twice around a 15 acre field then suddenly it stopped, swung round to face her, stamped its foot a few times and charged her. She was off like the clappers in the opposite direction and blow me the bloody thing took off after her and they did another 2 laps in the other direction with the buck chasin her!! Then it decided to run to the hedge and jump out of the fieldl but was too exhasted and fell back and the dog fell onto it. we were about 300 yds away so ran towards the scene imaging she woud hav him down and be waiting fo
