    we are hoping to construct a trailer to tow into the fields to bring back red deer. Has anyone made a trailer or modified one specifically for this job? Would be interested to see other peoples pix or hear your ideas, so we can get some tips for this winter project

    contact new snowdonia taxidermy they will supply all the kit to tan the skin get all the fat and excess meat of after skining and consider freezing it till you get you tanning kit thanks for that idea

    That would possibly be an Ormskirk (some call 'em Lancashire) Heeler. Black and tan and short on leg. Seen plenty of these fiery little tykes work rats around local farms over the years. lancshire heelers look like mini black and tan corgis....manchesters have long legs and very slim and sleek.

    its a bit dodgy shooting in foggy weather id be a it concerned there were people stalking where i was walking....and visa versa...we only stalk on private farmland with no walkers and I wouldnt want o stalk anywhere there was jo public wandering about!

    Where abouts did she go missing as I walk up by the canal on occasions ??hello she went missing in toms lane she still hasnt been found i think someone has her but dont know she is someones loving pet.i will keep you all informed.many thanks report it to dog lost! They are excellent.

    well we had some visitors last week from overseas....they could see i was busy with hounds so they offered to make coffee for all of us. drank mine but thought it tasted a bit weird....then realised theyd made it with the puppy bitch replacement milk that was made up in the fridge!!

    isnt bakers that multi coloured stuff? They only put the colourant in for daft pet owners who think their little darlings like the different pretty colours for cheapness but relatively decent is the skinners gundog foods. or even cheaper (and not quite so decent although our little lakelands fare well on it, is supadog working or supadog greyhound.

    my late father in law was a real old style country man and he always swore that if a ferret lies up the best way to get it out is to put a bit if smoking (ie burning) straw from the ferret box in the bury. Tried it once nd it worked a treat I must say although no doubt someone will tell me why its not a good idea.

    problem with this type is that every time they shake their heads (which they do cos the cut tingles) then they set it off afain. ideally you need to strap the ear to the head.....this is what i do....make a compression pad out of cotton wool wrapped in cotton and wrap it around the ear. Tape pad to ear with adhesive tape....then get an old sock and cot the end of so its a tube, and put dogs head and ear through sock so its like a balaclava and this keeps the ear next to the head so it doesnt fly about when they shake their head. you need to check the wound daily though as lack of air isnt g

    although eggs are very good for dogs (I beieve, they are one of the most concentrated, valuable form of protein that a dog can get) , they do need to be cooked Raw egg whites bind to the biotin that a dog ingests and prevents it from being absorbed, hence why most fold feed scrambled aggs and not raw

    time and quarantine...so you dont pass it onto someone elses dogs. it can be fatal in the young or old dog

    for my 12 week old pups i would be feeding 7am-royal canin puppy softened with some warm goats milk 11am RCP with some green tripe (raw) 3pm scrambled eggs 7pm RCP and tripe Sometimes I prefer to feed skinnersinstead of RC, but it would depend on what breed. RCP? do you mean raw chicken pieces? green tripe is a problem for me, ive tryed everywhere and cant get hold of non, they only seem to sell the white tripe? anyone know of any place in liverpool or a company that would deliver it to me?     I think that everyone is in agreement with you there. The KC ones ive seen look nothing like the ones that are worked. How hard is it to import a couple of dachshunds and how much would you be looking at for a decently bred one? I dont understand why in this country we have show strains and working strains. If it is a working breed then before it can be bred from it should have to prove itself in its suitability and ability to work and the KC should not judge on the 'potential' to do the job, it should have already done the job. That way you would eventually get one strain that both works and
