  1. you cant dye coats at KC dog shows mate....they have coat testing and if you do it youre caught and banned. learn your facts before spouting!
  2. does she do it when you train her or when you walk her or just when shes around the house? is she getting enough mental stimulation? enough attention during the day? is she doing it at night? more info might help!!
  3. or theres always the Tiverton Foxhounds bank holiday monday tomoorw....thats a fantastic show.
  4. having seen them working at working tests in uk and seen them actually working in Italy, I cab recommend them.....as long as you dont mind their large size, quite a lot of hair and dribbly beards so not to everyones taste.
  5. why would you suggest breeding from a bitch who has a dodgy temperament towards people???
  6. my biggest concern would be that you are 17 and live with your mum and shes not keen on having a dog!!! Are you at school or college or at work? If so who will look after the dog?? its not easy even when you love them, and you cant expect your mum to do it if shes not into the whole dog thing. Might be woth waiting a while until you are ina better situation maybe?
  7. sorry but any vet who said that   its a disgrace as for recomendations....Pet Plan every time
  8. my reply is same as on the other forum you asked on
  9. im interested. how far away from the cattle market are you please?
  10. shame that ......responsible breeders should always do a return contract, but that aside might be worth speaking to them in case they want her back or have someone on their waiting list who would like her.
  11. cheers pal strip by hand or using a mars. dont use a blade it will ruin the coat. use some chalk block to get a good grip. If youve not done it before get a hand stripping dvd or get an experienced person to show you.... not someone who uses a blade!!
  12. sorry but thats absolute rubbish where on earth did that come from? i have exported many dogs overseas over the years and are now in the finest homes intheir respecctive countries fully intact and breeding where appropriate!!! all you need are the relevant papers and vaccinations for the country of export, be it rabies or whatever, and to say they must be sterilised is absolute nonsense.
  13. you need to start contacting everyone you can....start with dog lost then go thru every vet in yellow pages, every rescue kennel, the dog warden, the police EVERYONE! and good luck.
  14. if she came from a responsible breeder then can you not return her? Did you not have a contract?
  15. The small ones from lidl will not mince bone or skin, I knacker two with in weeks! The machines are good for small jobs, sausage stuffing and mincing meat 'off' the bone portions etc. I was lucky and found an industrial butchers mincer, big old machine and very heavy too. Now that makes short work of everything from rabbits skinned but on the bone to a whole deer carcass (obviously not on the bone). Northern tool sells hand mincers which are good but if you are to do a lot of meat processing then it's well worth looking at local auctions for a proper job, I only paid £25 for mine but had t
  16. if you are in rented then check the T&C of your rental agreement. if you are in your own house, and there is no covenant on it restricting you to 2 dogs, then theres no problem. no issues, and Im not sure why you would be worried unless they are causing an enviromental nuisance such as barking.
  17. A: vets are in business they are not a charity. their business overheads vary same as any one elses B)if you dont like vet bills then get insurance.
  18. theres no terriers on there either there wont be many photos of the terriers on there for saturday because the photographer wasnt there when they were judging that sounds very professional!!! Not!
  19. the more I read on here the more I feel some folk shouldnt be allowed to keep dogs just go to canine chemist and buy frontline
  20. I understand what you are saying. ..but maybe the thieving lying two faced ones...aint posting, because they have no principles.... . Good point! my principles in life are the sames as I hold in business. if I say I will do something I will. In return if you ask me to do a job (in business) then I expect you to keep to your word.... not treat me like shit because you are too scared to tell me your mates doing the job instead and too scared to tell me beacuse you know you are in the wrong (hope you are reading this! ) Always look at how to get the best out of a worst situation rath

  23. people dont tend to realise that a lot of the moor is privately owned, and so comes under the same laws and restrictions as any other farm land. some of it is also Duchy owned, and again, the rules are the same!!! Some folk seem to think that because its a bit wild up here, then its public land and anyoone can go anywhere There are plenty of people who shoot, dig, hunt etc legally on the moor.
