    As a keeper I cant afford to miss many foxes in the lamp and my old s and b 8x56 does the job!! (of not missing)

    I hand feed all my drives because there all cover crops on tops of hills. If i used hoppers theyd feed and f off!. hopper feeding is ideal in some woods though.

    I just think you would be better helping out at a gamefarm to learn the ropes then maybe try it yourself, I went to sparsholt 4 years ago and am now a full time underkeeper, but before i went I worked on a gamefarm/shoot and picked up alot of tips that helped at college. Anyway get stuck into the horsey girls, your gonna love it!!!!!!!!!!

    Dragged it back with a bit of old electric fencing wire tied round it. Took the pic the next day because it was getting dark when i got in.

    The dogs 14month I'm well chuffed he didnt take much punishment so he must have done a bit of ducking and diving down there!!

    Heres a pic of our 1st fox! Didnt have a camera so had to drag it all the way home to get a picture. Dog went straight down and within ten mins he was steady. Dug down to about 3 foot then bye bye charlie.

    Me and the head keeper have had just over 70 since last april. The fun soon wears off when you realise if you miss a "problem" fox you have potentialy risked a whole pen of pheasants worth more than you get paid a year!!!

    Right lads, its came to the time for me to buy my own locator. I'm all confused what to go for one of my keeper mates uses a b and f and another 2 terrier men i know use debens. What should i go for? ANDY

    I wear the Vierzonord everyday of life whilst feeding. By far the comfiest £105 at sgc just now. I go through about a pair a year but my headkeeper is on his second this season!!

    My wee pat ready to go. Had him on one dig but got a shit load of rats round my pat pens to clear up. Hes never seen one before but he should get stuck in!!
