    I mostly hand feed too. I have had trouble this year with the wind and the pheasys not hearing me whistling does anybody use a dog whistle or anything? Andy

    I use a .222 for all my vermin control take foxes out to 200 yard comfortably but shooting over that in the lamp they start to look real wee!!

    I left school at 16 worked on a gamefarm and shoot for 3 years then went to sparsholt. I'm now an underkeeper in sw scotland. If you can get a summer job on a gamefarm then go to college the more on you cv the better. I dont now why i got the job but 300 people were in for it! A

    Actually the weather was fine for most of the time , a couple of nights was horrendous though . Did you get a guide or just on your own?     I'd go for tikka mounts bit pricey (£-£90) but i've got them on both my work rifles (.222 and .22) and they get throwing about alot and still dead on. Andy
