  5. what is the breeding of the dog you put photos of frank??
  6. Jesus there is some aggresion on here just lately!!! Everyone needs to chiiiiiiilllll Lol. I believe the GSD is becoming quite a popular addition to a lurchers make up. They offer brains and prey drive as well as a good coat and good feet. I am not an expert in many things and dont claim to be but i imagine they offer similar qualities to a lurcher as a collie would? Obviously each would have there pros and cons but do a bit of research on it and im sure you will agree it can be usefull in a lurchers breeding. Hope this helps, Gaz.
  7. Ive had some really good replies here. Thanks alot to everyone who has replied and posted pics. That lurcher and staffy look great together 'dogs-n-natives' cheers mate. Thanks again all, Gaz.
  8. Get google up and type in something like 'how to arouse my man' lol. Should get loads of 'womans pages' come up with bedroom tips and advice ;-)
  9. Can somone tell me how to get my profile photo or avatar to show up? I have got a photo on my profile but it doesnt show next to my posts!? Thanks Gaz
  10. Thats very true about BB guns. Thats the start of it for most of the CHAV NOBS!!! They start out with plastic BB guns at about 11 years old and shoot there mates with them for a laugh. But then by the time theyre 16 theyre pissing about with cheap air rifles and getting us all a bad name. Gaz
  11. Ive only just come across this thread and i never saw the original pic/post. However i dont think that anyone can put up any image that is worse than the antis already have. Someone has said above about pictures of hawks on there prey, fish on lines etc. I see lots of pictures of shot rabbits, retrieved rabbits etc on here. I cant see why some images are 'allowed' and some arent. The antis already have all the fuel they need where images are concerned. Now i think we need to stick together and carry on doing what we do (as long as its legal ) and if someone wants to put images up th
  12. Hope youve got this sorted mate. And you have had some cracking advice above. We had a similar problem with our EBT. When he was about 3/4 months old he started growling if we got near his food bowl when he was eating. So straight away we got him by the scruff, dragged him away and took his food off him. Then about 5 times while he was eating just took the bowl off him. I know that within a couple of weeks i could put my hand in his bowl and take food from his mouth while he was eating without a problem. Gaz
  13. I too noticed the string after. Cant see why anyone would want to do that really? Some strange people about! Gaz
  14. Yeh i agree that it wont be long before you need a licence to posses an air rifle. As said above this wouldnt be a bad thing really, just that it would be a shame for those who have already got one and use it properly if they couldnt get a licence for whatever reason. Gaz
  15. GSI Stokie - i recognise who you are know ive seen your pics mate!! Heres one of me and one with my ex-missus (she finished me saturday but i aint lettin her go that easy after 17 months... I will get her back!!!) Lol.
  16. I was just about to give the same advice as 'ghostlyease'. Do what he said above and if paint is still on your computer somwhere then it will open up. Gaz
  17. Id say something like Dam - German Shepherd/Greyhound x Collie/Whippet Sire - Whippet Could be way off but i can see GSD in there somewhere. Gaz
  18. Only just found this thread too. Fair play to you both... Valentino for taking the dog off your cousin and re-homing him, and D.S for taking on the dog. Nice one fellas Gaz
  19. Thanks to everyone who replied. Will look into some of the companys which you have reccomended for when i get a pup. Some of them sound cheaper than i was expecting actually and i guess you never know when it may come in handy. Thanks again Gaz
  20. Ah right okay mate. Didnt realise that was what you meant. Hope you find someone who can do it. Gaz
  21. Hey up mate, im genuinely curious as to what your asking here? Obviously the other falconers will know what you mean, but i dont know anything about hawks at all so what is it you need to have done mate? Cheers Gaz
  22. Have any of you got pet insurance for your dogs? Just wondering what the average to pay is? And what do you get for it? Does it cost more if 'declared' as a working dog? I remember my folks had it for our EBT and it was about £15 a month but they hardly ever paid up because his illnesses were 'genetic' and not covered. Didnt cover anti-biotics, steroids or wormers either. Just let me know who has got it and what you get for your money etc and if you reccomend it? I was thinking about setting up my own 'insurance pot' and just put £30 a month into a pot and let it build up
  23. Shes a nice looking dog, love the colour mate. Good luck with her
  24. I have never seen anything but i did a bit of research on this a few years ago, when i was about 15/16. Me and my mates used to mess about on 'the common' not far from me. Its heavy with heather and various woodland sections. Also in-undated with rabbits. It was in our local paper that an old woman had sighted a panther/puma/lynx or similar big black cat. And my mate whos nan lived on a farm next to the common said she had lost sheep to what she had thought must of been bigger than a fox or dog. Anyway we researched it loads and spent hour after hour, day, night, misty mornings, foggy
  25. Ive just come across this thread. I have been thinking about doing my daystate in the camo tape for a while but dont like the idea of it leaving a load of sticky crap all over my gun if i decide to take it off for whatever reason. However... I came up with a plan... Put a 'base tape' on, maybe masking tape??? I know for a fact this isnt as sticky as i use it all the time at work and peel it off machines after 2 or 3 weeks with no probs. Do you think it would work and should i give it a go??? Thanks Gaz
