  1. As with most things you take for granted. Some things you just never give a second thought. Just took a shot. Quick scan with the lamp and the lamp gets turned off. Grab the strap and swing the rifle round to stick it on my shoulder and it turned into a pendulum slipping through my fingers. Thank feck it was the bottom clip. If it had been the top one the rifle would have been on the deck. Never again will I go for a QR sling. Other than that it was a quiet couple of hours.
  2. I'm finding your posts a bit vague!? Etc etc etc!?
  3. Feck me Moxy you been in my wife's toy box to atvbmac  it's mine. VM has one too. Something to do with beating sense into Daystate owners..??
  4. Apologies. I just like to stir the shitpot now and again. I'm sure you lads will have a good weekend
  5. Any posts relating to dogging in car parks will be deleted.....!!
  6. The feeling is mutual. Change your name to wood wasp. Because you have just crawled right out of it.
  7. I had the big daddy. The ND5. No good in what way You could blind the astronauts in the international space station. Awesome beam of light. But when you opened the beam up to to match the field of view through the scope it just didn't cut it. Not bright enough. Eye shine was also poor. I've spoke to lads who swear by the ND3 but in my opinion it's just not worth it for the money.
  8. I'm not having a dig mate. Far from it. Feck. My first lamp was "claimed" to do 400 yds! Great for spotting rabbits 5 fields off. But no good for sub 12 airgun range. Unless the rabbits were green or wise and squatting. A dimmer switch was brought out for the lamp and it made a world of difference. Trust me. My point is. Once rabbits get used to light. Albeit green red blue or neon pink, their not going to sit and wait for you to shoot them. Blinding them with a bright light certainly won't help. Again. The dimmer the better. In my opinion.
  9. This is where I disagree. IMO far too bright. The dimmer the better. Spotting is a different ball game. But why do you need a 150 yd beam when your shooting up to 50 yds max? If it's working for you. Fair play
  10. Not to rock the boat but I've said it many times... There's nothing wrong with the ultrafire 501b. More than ample for an airgun and doesn't spook or blind everything in the field. Cheap as chips if you shop about. If it breaks. Throw it away and buy another. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ultrafire-WF-501B-G60-Cree-RED-LED-Flashlight-/300584301528
  11. Ir means infrared. An illuminator for night vision. T38 relates to the lens size in mm. With the t20 being an exception. Because the lens is larger than 20mm. Cree is a brand or style of torch. As for changing pils (or led units) for multi coloured ones I think your going to struggle. However. Pains me to say but Deben do a kit and it's ok. Rechargeable kit. Focusable lens. Scope clamp and tail switch. 3 power settings on a separate button. Red led only. £ but I dare say you can find it cheaper online.
  12. Looks like a good day Billy. Nice one.
  13. Come on you messer. Prices. Location and contact details.
