  1. Winner, the palastinan walked right into that one
  2. Chimp, 27 maybe the magic number but 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything
  3. I wear the lowa combat gtx. These boots get hammered. All day every day in all weathers. If you look after them and clean them and dry slowly and pollish regular you will get life out of them. I usually get nearly two years before they start to look tired. The goretex does make your feet sweat especially through the summer but they dry well and it doesent bother your feet much if you wear the right socks. I have tried loads of boots including the ludicrously priced han wag which didnt last for me. I cant comment on the boots you have mentioned but lowa are worth every penny. Just look af
  4. Why what happened, you admit defeat to easily Pay the postage and i will send you some up
  5. Nice shooting but wrong section perhaps
  6. Your right, wrong icon. should be more fitting as im still 100% on your whereabouts but i will take grimsby as a guess cheers in jest LOL what a plonker i am, i hadnt noticed you had edited your ad and put your location up. Now wheres that delete button At least on thing, its keeping your ad at the top of the pile
  7. I dont want them at all Mate, but best of luck with the sale. What i was trying to point out ( and yes its because i have feck all to do at the moment), was the simple and easy task of putting a feckin price and location on your ad. Its something most folk can seem to do. You know folk will look at your ad, see the price and decide if they are interested. If they are a glance at the location may sway them to buy if your local or within driving distance etc etc. Why some people decide to turn everything into a series of Q & A i will never know. A swift sale would be a must for me.
  8. Top job, £4 for the pair and i will collect them from you in leeds tommorow. Cheers
  9. No just wash it and salt it, then redry. Using salt will make your skin rock hard and brittle. So if you do a few you have replacements as they fall apart.
  10. Sunshine and salt i have found to be the cheapest. Clean as much crap from the inside of the pelt. (to add skin your rabbit without splitting the skin, it will save stitching) Turn the pelt iinside ot and douse it completely in salt and allow to dry in the sun. As it becomes rigid loosen the pelt and resalt, then turn it back the right way so as it dries further and hardens you dont struggle or tear it. A cheap and quick metod i have used. As to a dummy you can buy them all over the shop for around a fiver.
  11. No pipa your far off the mark with the stealing of a sale, it makes no odds to me wheather the shanks go or not. It makes more sense for him to see you.
  12. A reasonable knowledge of the stock/crops your working with, all training will be provided on the job by a short tempered, over worked farmer. A good preparation for everything to be your fault so high self asteem is a must. You will be a useless tw*t no matter how hard you try! Long hours including lots of early mornings and late nights. A good and civil amount of common sense to use your initative to get the job done as every piece of machinery WILL break on you, (make do and mend!). Shite pay and a willing to put in more than you take out of the job. No or very little s

  16. Thanks for your reply and im glad your pleased
  17. Thats a fair response duckwing and to be honest they kind of reply i was expecting in regards to profiteering. A little helping hand or guidence sometimes goes a long way though, as does constructive criticism or feedback. If you feel that the chords are substandard then tell holly where she is going wrong so she can rectify the mistakes or withdraw her ad and stop selling. Its up to you if you do or not and to be honest it makes no difference to me, i would personally prefer to be helpful than derogatory (sometimes ) It would be interesting to see different variations of leg teathers
  18. Duckwing, being the fountain of knowledge that you are why dont you share as to where the lass has gone wrong and offer a little constructive input as so she can learn by the errors of her ways. Maybe because holly is trying to make a quid or two you felt the need to be negative? I agree the chord should be tied a little different but " WHEN I WAS A LAD I TIED MANY A BIRD UP WITH A SIMILAR RIG" and they never came to any harm. Perhaps not the correct thing to do in hindsight with todays animal welfare culture and also trying to make a quick quid but as a lad i used all sorts of stuff i ha
