    I have owned a superten carbine for around ten years and believe me when I say it's accounted for some fur and feather. It's not the pre charged I wanted but when I went to the shop to buy a rapid and they had just sold the last one, gutted about summed it up.     I wouldn't touch the metalwork. If its almost " mint " it can't be that bad. It's a very rare occasion that a home done blueing goes well. Well enough to last. Unless your a pro or a very adept amateur. 9 out of ten attempts I have seen are shit to put it bluntly. If you must. Send it to somebody but I would just give it a good and regular oiling.
