    I rehomed a nest box which bumbles had taken up residence about a month ago and brought it home. All well and good, they come and go as they please and don't cause us any bother. For a couple of weeks I have been noticing the odd wasp or two but just shrugged it off and put it down to nest raiding for larvae. However battle has commenced and although some of the aeriel combat and fights have been spectacular it just can't carry on!!     What laird rake said. I got some neoprene lined ones a size above thinking I could wear extra socks for warmth. Big mistake. They ended up as sloppy and sweaty as big Angie next door. Not good for your feet.

    If it was the abercynon one your referring to I pulled it. It wasn't just one individual who was lowering the tone. I was going to clean it up but by the time everyone had quoted all the snide comments several time the topic was lost, it was late and to be honest I couldn't be bothered. What is is with these little shows that makes certain folk beat their chests. Those involved were warned.

    Hi and welcome. Yes permission is very hard to come by over that way. However it all depends on what your asking for. If your just going to fly bop, you may be in with a shot. I have a fair lump of land over that way and I have also lost an equal amount for various reasons. Best of luck
