And just to add the cut was 60ft deep.and the 360 was taking out another cut of 25ft so that was 85/90ft of pure white chalk. And coming from the slag tips of south Wales to the land of white it was like being on the moon lol.

I was working in Kent on the channel tunnel railway they were boreing a tunnel through a big hill.the whole site was white chalk like snow.In bright sunlight you had to wear sun glasses as the glare would make you look like a jab holding your eyes half closed.and a hell of a headache. I found out how greasy it was when the frost had melted. When i slid 60ft down the ramp in a 40 ton dumptruck. Straight into my mate skip who was parked at the foot of the ramp. The truck was well smashed. They sacked me then lol.

I enjoy sitting in the garden but the dogs have ruined the lawn.1 thinks he's a motorcross bike doing his angry bull impression.I've got 28sqm of slabs coming next week. Let's see him try scratching that. Easier way to sort that out, cut your grass on shortest setting then cover it with mesh hold in place with metal tent pegs once the grass grows through you cannot see the mesh, good to do in chicken runs aswell stops the roots being dug up so grass keeps coming through and with constant feeding by chicken shit you get a lush green swardThat sounds a good idea drifter.But the lawn is in a b

Spot on mate. How are you getting access to the sleeping box does the top and bottom open like a Door.im guessing it's all indoors so to speak as you haven't got panels between the runs. I've looked at so many pictures my head is spinning lol.

I met a traveler living in a vardo about 14yrs ago.I was walking back from a days ferreting and he was keen to swap a 1yr old lurcher for a rabbit. With the agreement that if I caught more than 1 rabbit I would drop him 1 in lol. He was telling me about eating worms that had been in a tray of flour for a few days to get the soil out of them. He would fry them then. He was an interesting lad.

Right I'm going to be building a block of 4 kennels in the coming months. I've decided on 2 courses of breeze blocks as dividing walls with mesh panels on top. And a roof over the lot. But I can't make my mind up on sleeping boxes. Weather to build the back area with all blocks or wood.I like the look of them plastic barrels but would rather a wooden box with bench on top for the dog to lye on. Etc. Any pics of your sleeping areas or how youve built yours would be appreciated.
