  2. I will tell you a little tip mate..and I've proven it time and time again.. If fishing a pond or lake either small or large. Just think about how the food gets into the pond or lake..it doesn't fall from the sky..it gets in there by a stream or a trickle etc.just look at the lye of the surrounding land. You will see where a small stream or trickle would be..where that little bit of water enters the pond or lake is a deadly place to fish..that's where the food conveyor belt is..all the fish know the food enters the water there..even the predators will be near as that area holds a lot of fe

  6. Important open letter from senior military figures. Dear Secretary of State, As retired senior officers of the Crown with experience of senior command, we feel compelled to write to you with a sense of sadness, incredulity and anger having viewed astonishing evidence of the depth and pervasiveness of the racist and intolerant "Diversity, Equality and Inclusivity" ideology being pushed within HM Armed Forces. We see these facts, as so they are, as the perpetration of monumental self-harming and, as such, a real and present threat to national security that will give aid and c

  14. He certainly was mate..I seen a few programmes of his..building of Britain.. he was showing some drawings of his to explain buildings etc..the drawings looked like an architect had done them. Very professional looking diagrams.. One of his programmes where he sank a mine shaft in his back garden.and showing how it was done using a steel ring with a few courses of bricks around the ring. Then removing the dirt in an even fashion below the ring so it sank into the hole.then repeat a few more courses and sink the ring even further. I don't think Fred invented that method of sinking a shaft b

  18. A man is more likely to fall from a step ladder than a mobile scaffolding tower..that's all there interested in is zero accidents and zero liability claims..+ it looks good when company's are tendering for jobs with a zero accident record. A fatality on site and the manager is going to have H&S going through every single procedure that's in place for safe working practices.. So from the managers point of view he would sooner have the job slowed down to erect a .mobile tower.than have you climb a step ladder to change a light bulb which has a risk of an accident. I'm all for H&
  19. In the quarrys they use a ticket named "MPQC" for plant etc.. Once the quarry have put you through that they have covered themselves for liability issues etc.. The quarry manager was telling us that on another 1 of the companies quarry's..a guy was sweeping out the back of his lorry and walking backwards while sweeping he fell of the back and broke his leg...how stupid can you actually be ffs..
