    This just shows an absolute ignorance of the law. This is totally illegal. There is no difference - still totally illegal I'm afraid. Now I have friends that are or have been gamekeepers but I have to say (controvertially) that as a profession (and I use the term very loosely) thay have little regard for wildlife or the law. As long as their means justify their aims, anything goes and they know that unless someone grasses on them they will never be found out.

    I agree with Trappa. (Some) gamekeepers have been bringing pest control into disrepute with these sort of activities for generations now. Until they get out of the mindset that all predators are the enemy then there will always be a problem. Predator control is a balance and the law is the law.

    ArsePCA not just the enemy of hunting. The enemy of pest control too. Anyone misguided enough to put animals before people (as they do) need help. The only uniform they deserve is one buttoned up the back! Each to their own but personally I wouldn't give them the time of day let alone a cup of tea.

    Fidgety, If you can't ferret your area it could be that you can't Fenn trap it either. In which case you might want to consider cage trapping which doesn't need access to the actual rabbit holes.

    Cage trapping? You're unlikely to catch a cat baiting with carrots but if you do you can let it go again.

    My preferred method of setting them off is to use a rabbit Failing that I've always released them with my hands but your way looks much safer so I will give it a try next time. Good tip, cheers.

    Presumably that means they will not enforce the 1954 Pests Act although presumably it is still on the statute book? At least it will prevent us arguing about the legalities of releasing rabbits now.

    What was the cause of the whole "credit crunch"? Banking debt and personal debt. So what does the government do to sort it all out? a £trillion of debt. Surely any schoolboy let alone an economist can see that Brown and Darling have lost their marbles. God help us. Remind me, who is the BNP shadow chancellor again?

    No I don't believe pest control could manage without rodenticides. They might be more fun but traps aren't up to the job of vermin control alone.

I would think that members of the public reading many parts of this forum would be horrified by some of the hunting, trapping, snarring and general killing that goes on in our business too, but you don't take their side over that presumably.     Matt you made the important distinction between multi-racial and mult-cultural. I have no problem with other races as long as they abide by our rules and our culture as we have to when living in their cultures. The difference is if we transgress in their culture we're likely to lose your hands or be stoned to death in the street. As has been said before it is the left leaning whites in our society that cause most of the problems trying to impose their PC views on white and ethnics alike. Maybe we should kick them out instead
