  1. Get a Vitara never had issues with the one we use. Has been 'modded' a bit, well its standard apart from a 'roof conversion', but its the dogs nuts for lamping both rabbit and fox!!
  2. Whilst that can be true about selling dogs as with all pups, then dogs, you only get out of them what you put in during training. Lots have good potential but get spoilt by the training they actually get. One of the best dogs I saw was an 'accidental mating' lab x spaniel no pedigree but the guy spent a lot of time and effort on the dog and got a cracker. Breeding isnt everything, ie good bloodlines dont mean good dogs!!!
  3. cavity batts and ply. If you got a building site close by have a word.
  4. OK in next breath anyone tried Prvi Partizan in 223
  5. We have always used Hornady 55 grain ballistic tip on fox. Our 'local' supplier has some Remington 55 grain FMJ available at £9 a box!! Any disadvantage in using these opposed to the ballastic's
  6. mate has the Starlight Archer on his HMR Serious dosh at £1700 for the cheapest version!! http://www.starlightnv.co.uk/buy_scopes_online.html

  12. Question: Does the Rapid MFR stock 'swap' with the standard Rapid?
  13. Speak to Rimfire Magic their trigger kit for the CZ452 is cheap easy to fit and did the job. They 'play' loads with Ruger's so would think they can advise or help. http://www.rimfiremagic.co.uk/
  14. Brno is where the factory is. Cz seems to have been a trade-mark for a lot of stuff made in what is now the Czec republic from guns to motor-bikes!. Tis all the same . I think Edgar bros are the importers. If not a trip to your local gunshop might put you onto one . You never know what old damaged and condemned guns are "out-back" awaiting scrapping . Can i just say that Bruno and CZ are two different companies. The factoryies are in different countries and they are not merged. Type BRUNO rifles into Google and you get this as the top search! http://www.czub.cz/en/catalog/105-
  15. To do rabbits you only need a sharp blade its simple enough to nick the fur around the leg joints (back and front) and twist them off. Same can de done to the heads once the skin is pulled back to reveal the neck. You dont need an axe cleaver or monster knife. I have dressed them out complete into 'joints' using a blade no longer than 2"
  16. I have been down the 'stanley' route and the snap blade route for rabbits but there is something about a good knife that feels right. Knives in your previous post are very good there is no doubt and the finished ones look superb. I really hope this takes off for you, you def have the ability to produce great looking stuff. Personally I do prefer a folding blade but have never found a 'small' fixed blade that I have liked the shape of. (the blade in particular)
  17. Great idea and good advertising if can you make a knife for less than a tenner!! I would love a custom knife but would be afraid to lose it, at less than £10 the above are much less of a worry. Mind if I was offered a free sample knife to show all my mates how good the british bladesmith was then I may consider it Just a thought Hi Midnight Just been browsing and saw your stunning blades in a post called paunching knives lots of pics
  18. If you want a knife for rabbits look no further than a carbon blade Opinel (for me the No6 or 7) http://www.outdoorgb...locking_knives/ Or if you prefer a fixed blade look at the Mora http://www.workshoph...CFeTLtAod3RkAYw http://www.greenmanb...bon-clipper.htm Oh and in my opinion avoid any 'part serrated' blade like the plague!!
  19. Good theory but as has been said permission is granted for you to reduce numbers not increase em!!
  20. And another Subject: Letter to Mr Cameron - Brilliant a must read Dear Mr Cameron, Please find below our suggestion for fixing the UK's economy. Instead of giving billions of pounds to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan. You can call it the Patriotic Retirement Plan: There are about 10 million people over 50 in the work force. Pay them £1 million each severance for early retirement with the following stipulations: 1) They MUST retire - Ten million job openings - unemployment fixed 2)
  21. Be sure to read all the way to the end! Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table At which he's fed. Tax his work, Tax his pay, He works for peanuts Anyway! Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat. Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think. Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ass. Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers; Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the so
