    As a kid we took them for granted in and around dads compost heap .Havent seen one for 10 year or more .Use to keep several in an old bath tub as well as frogs toads and newts .Once saw a hedgehog eating one at night that was wriggling so assume he caught it .My sister was bitten by a captive slow worm on the back of her hand ,luckily they having got teeth .

    I know that FFS, my point is rippem in the US is telling lads in d UK, they should revere him as a legend, make it their business to get to know him, to learn from him! My point is plenty of lads in d UK are v good terriermen in their own right. If anyone knows about Nuttal & his line of terriers they do & dont need to be lectured by a foreigner who wouldnt be in the know, let alone know him.     Agreed mate ,but if a man is something other than he masquerades as then everyone has the right to say so .You in the States have such a small gene pool for working terriers you don't really know what your on about .Mr Nuttall may well be an icon over there but unfortunately your praise us aimed at what he did 20 years or so ago .I've seen you slate our terriers for being too big lol

    Just to put a bit of realism to this thread ,no one I know would dream of going direct to Brian for a lining these days whereas 20 years ago there was a waiting list .No doubt Dog fox will say different but there it is .The pups churned out today seem very much aimed at newbies but I could be wrong .

Times may have changed mate but we were almost prisoners in the hotel beach complex with armed guards stopping anyone entering or leaving without the correct paperwork and prearranged pick up times .Armed guards on the beach front too stopping locals from stealing clothes we were told .All a bit disconcerting to a country bumpkin .We were constantly lied to by hotel staff about everything from laundry to price of drinks and every conversation had a twist

    Total bollocks ,he lost size and to cut the loss of face he went with it.His early stuff was the envy of many a yard but pound signs meant breed ,breed ,breed .You were probably glued up anyway .

    All bitches are put to a single stud regardless of relationship mate .Cousin to cousin would only occur very infrequently when a new stud is used and would be for her second litter if required .I only use a dog when he's had 5 good seasons on him and a new one would overlap the end of the old stud so I know he's right and still time to change .I had all this documented in my old thread but deleted it.A recent tragedy with my main stud has forced me to use an outcross ,the resulting one pup a bitch ,will be the future from now for me put back to her sire if he makes it 4 more years .
