The line is clipped for the distance mate and yes I take it back a metre or two after the pre bait .Fishing in about 12 ft water that’s all . Sessions typically start with small stuff ,skimmers etc then the bream move in which is very evident even without a bite because the area starts bubbling when their heads down in the silt .Few anglers use dead maggots for that reason but I want them in the silt and kicking up clouds of it .Got to help with competition and playing a fish from the shoal . I’m guessing none of you have had terriers that learn to wriggle out of neck collars .I use harnesses to stop that .One of my old bitches perfected the art of back up out of a collar ,don’t ask me how but no matter how tight within reason I did it she would wriggle out and be off after a cat or fight another dog .With 3 more on leads the escaper just had to meet me back home later .That trait spread to her daughter then son and now all 4 are on harnesses . Sister in law had an iguana .Nigh on 4 ft nose to tail .Had it’s own bedroom ,lamp pool the lot . Unfortunately her Yorkshire terrier got in somehow and killed the thing .Must of been a lucky strike on the ground . It shed its tail but too late ,marmite had the thing brown bread . Have you thought about a corn snake .My kids had one each ,a normal phase and an albino .I preferred them bigger when they took live prey but they are feisty things you need to watch when feeding .After fed they are very placid to hold .Grow to about 5 foot . What I’ve noticed is that those that do the most shouting never reply beyond a post where someone tells it as it is .The herd mentality dosnt want to break form nor be seen to show weakness . Not many know their weakness’s nor are prepared to change for the greater good or publicly renounce their ways .We are breeding a society where not only are we f****d over by government but by our fellow Brits too given any chance it seems .We all know who the offenders are , few can’t wait to feel offended on another’s behalf . Being perfectly honest here ,I’ve only ever seen Max on the back foot and dishing out what he’s receiving so for me he’s entitled to it .
