While I agree with you..... and at risk of once again taking a thread off on a tangent.....I think there's a difference in celebrating and admitting we have run out of sympathy.

I had a jar to kill them with. Used to burn a piece of sulphur to kill em then dry them on little boards with pins holding their wings out. I've still got my net somewhere

No, I was proper amatuer. A mate of mine had a big light trap thing and he gave me quite a few different hawk moths. I gave em all away in the end. Wish I'd framed the best ones for the wall

An old beater on our shoot worked in Africa....he said on taking over any job he would find the biggest ugliest black and give him a stick and a bowler hat, then tell him he was in charge. He didn't pay him more, just the hat was enough for him to knock fck out the others and keep em working
