Further reading clarifies what I thought, due to the degradation of DNA, scientists will never be able to recreate exact replicas of extinct animals.

And I'm not going to lie, I don't. I'm working Saturday night anyway but if I wasn't I wouldn't be going. Unless it personally effects me then I won't show enough interest, I imagine most people feel this way.

Matters regarding what? I don't follow you. Like I said, there's DNA evidence to show we bred with them, you think of Neanderthal has strictly European, that's not the case, in fact the population with the highest amount of Neanderthal DNA are people from East Asia.
