You're exaggerating somewhat fella, and you're talking about context. The government, Tories, have been talking about the buildings of these houses for years, but the key point is they haven't built these houses. What you are implying is that we should live more within our means, become more Little Britain than Great Britain and I agree, but we are not, we are massive consumers.

Clueless as usual, the emission totals are calculated the same, the UK or Nigeria isn't an exception. So you think our consumption doesn't add towards the global carbon footprint, what planet are you on? Lol

Your particular example. Nigeria emissions per capita= O.44 UK emissions per capita= 5.60 Just to be clear, that's not close to being the highest in the world.

Based on the fact that we are more industrialised than the majority of countries in Africa. Plus the fact that nearly half of our carbon footprint is made overseas.

The truth is, sub-saharan Africa's carbon footprint is not even close to ours per capita. It would pay the planet well if we all reduced are consumption.

The evidence is overwhelming, ice core samples, lab experiments, direct measurement of CO2 levels, computer models, historic studies, satellite data, etc.
