    xmas hat

Just noticed the little hat on the hunting life across the top how long has it been up?
  8. LMAO. You should sell all them damn hobs, and get on the phone to Molecatcher to sort a load of nets for you! haha
  9. I knew i could convert you. Did you enjoy more? give your back a rest old man
  10. I suppose the advantage of a jill is that it doesnt kill as often and can fit down smaller burries. But Hobs kill very often and get tired easier..
  11. Longnet for that one young fellow! I could probably do it in 15 mins! You young whipper snappers need the spade to take the wind out of your sails a bit! You will be a digger one day, you know it! Nope Brim, Im afraid i will never be a digger. TBH you are the first ive ever heard of which goes out to dig! I dont mind a dig... but would avoid it. But then again mate, not all sets have cover for them to run to. So we find quite a few hole hopping which ruins the excersise of a longnet!
  12. But the thing is my friend, I would never take that long to set 20, maybe a few minutes at the most. I could probably set 50 nets in 15 mins. But you must be out of practise with the nets! haha I could do a nice size 50-60 holer, in most probably the time you reckoned for 20 holes. But it is all meant to be how WE like so its up to you how you do it. But bolting is the way for me.
  13. Same for me. First time for ages that I havent asked for anything. But i have made some pretty good hints about getting a nice 6ftx4ft shed for the ferrets. So you never know
  14. I was taking bets on how long until you replied brim. I dont get what your obsession with digging is???? and do you have a mini digger lmao. Anyway each to there own
  15. We dig if we can TBH, if we get a mark from the locator on a rabbit, then we try and dig on that mark as soon as possible, as not many rabbits will escape the hold of my ferrets, but when they are dead the stinker is right on to the next, so we generally try to get a mark and if the ferret comes up with blood then we put in a hob and use that to pick up the kill. If you can then dont leave em behind.
  16. Hope you all have a good Christmas guys, get very drunk and hope you all get loads of pressents. Have a goodun and a happy new year
  17. Well done mate. My lil sis (7) comes out every now and again. but not often. Good to see real young people out though. Have a good xmas mate
  18. A nice bedroom, smallish kitchen, perhaps a coolroom, gutting preparing type room. Telly and a fire. Would do me fine.
  19. O yes, And my weakness is buying ferret boxes. I could probably double my amount of ferrets and carry them in meter square boxes everywhere and still have spares. I can never bring myself to sell them though
