hi countrykid if in some cases you cant get a head shot! then don't take the shot if so then move to a better position and bingo! with either .177/.22 the chance you take with a body shot,is wounding your quarry.so its always best to get a head shot! when ever you can,if its not possible then bring in your field-craft taking a heart shot on certain quarry is frowned upon! but if its me i like a head shot,all the way regards davy

hi mate the top one is a logun s16 evo 177 with a nikko sterling 4x12x50 ir mill dot illuminated scope bipod and lampink kit,, my baby the 2nd one down is a logun s16 evo 177 the 3rd one down is a webley hawk mark 3 in 22 and the 4th one down is a daystate lr 90 with a custom stock in 177 cheers for the welcome thanks buddy has the evo got a shrouded barrel like the s16s ? also i had the chance to buy an lr 90 a couple of years back,what are they like? regards davy

QUESTIONS TO ASK WHEN BUYING A 2ND HAND PCP 1 ask for the serial number,then ring manufacture for identity they will give you the year of model 2 ask them when they purchased it,and how old it is,then put 1,2, together to see if you are dealing with some one who is legit. 3 when was it last serviced.and for a chrono reading. 4 how many pellet's have been through it. 5 have there been any modifications to the rifle. 6 and if possible do a face to face deal! and don't hand over your money, until you are completely happy with your purchase! i have used these tactics -
hi Mr T me tinks that you let frustration! get the better of you that day,and you done the right thing.in packing up as it would of spoiled your day even more if you had wounded a bunny,and the thought of it suffering below ground.we all have are days like that,from time to time "missing". TIP: when they come out next time! give it about 5/10 minutes,for it to relax.the reason it was lifting its head up and down it was still alert!and not relaxed! hence movement = miss. patience is are biggest hunting tool apart from the obvious! so keep calm if you miss and if you do miss again,when i

hi jasper i use my side parallex on my mtc mamba 3-12x44 when my target is under my zero,and if its way past my zero say 50yd + so the answer for me is yes its critical! as i dont like it when i miss! and also if its a pigeon then backstop has to play apart,cant rely on a branch to stop it in its path but evryone is different! regards davy

hi i shoot the first & the last out. because I'm a better shot than stealthy & tony :tongue2: no on a serious! note i shoot the first out! and some times i wait and let 4/5 come out.and the reason for this,if I'm using a multi shot then i can get 3 before they all disappear! 3 being my PB regards davy

hi buddy have you sent any lettrs out? also its just not farmers. try these places horse paddocks, hotels, football grounds, rugby grounds, industrial estates, business parks, golf courses, cemeteries, manor houses, country clubs, riding shcools, ect..ect......... get some of grimreapers letters of permission and edit to suit then post to all above in your area, and bingo! i have had good results with them. if all else fails then check out the shared permission on here.if that still fails then get back to knocking on doors! hope this helps! regards davy
